Kaladin looked at the crows nest, then back at Selkie. "I mean you need time to recover. You've been fighting on and off since you woke up on the shore...."

Selkie glanced at Kaladin "I have to figure it out okay a battle is not only won by brawns. It is won by brains." Selkie started climbing up the ratlines. In half a minute Selkie was 40ft in the air when the ratline Selkie was on snapped. Selkie dangled over the deck and swung back to the ratlines holding the snapped one. When on the ratlines he repaired the one that had snapped and kept climbing. In two more minutes Selkie was in the crow's nest.
The crewman that had been relieved by Selkie asked Kaladin. "What was that about?"

"Sea otters are like that from what I heard about Captain Waverider they'd do anything for their crew. Besides Selkie is the last sea otter." The crewman spoke. "Want to come help me check on the prisoners?"
