They probably had plenty of flowers in bloom now but there was also the danger of snakes and bees. The marsh was right next to the beach too. During the summer it was sheltered from the heat but contained a lot of flies in the humid air.

Moth shook her head at the thought of the icky swamp. The thought of gorgeous fliers stole her sole attention. Disregarding any dangers, Moth started to trot towards the grasses. *Let us go this way!* she whinneued to Wind, careful not to go too fast. But the flowers excited her so much!

Wind quickly followed and looked around curiously. Soon you reach the meadow and you see many beautiful flowers dotting it.

Moth trotted in a little happy circle before eargerly sniffing the flowers. *Ooh! They are all so pretty! I love this place so much!*

I drink from the river and feel as the water runs down my throat."Do you think horses have already claimed this territory?"I ask Walf "I mean,it's a practically perfect place to stay.It has water and shade and grass."I look around and I sniff to see if there are any fresh horse scents.

Wind looked around curiously then shrugged "I guess...There is lots of food"

Walf shrugs "I've never seen any herd here" and you scent nothing.

Well then we can make this our territory."I say and turn to Walf.I'm finally starting a herd! I look up to the sky.How much longer do we have until sunset?We can start exploring if there's enough time but we'll have to find a place to rest if it's too late.

*I know! And so many pretty flowers!* Moth felt an urge to roll in them, but did not want to look colicky. Thoughts trailing off on a tangent, she scanned around a bit for signs of other horses.

There is probably an hour to sunset. The climb up took a while. Walf frisks his tail encouragingly "I'm just glad to finally be in a herd"

You notice there is a trail of trampled flowers.
