She sat on her bed, staring down at the floor in silence.

Less than a minute later, the door banged open and Ash stepped through with Puck close behind him. Ash crossed the room, his face tight and severe, and Puck stood in front of the door with his arms crossed, glaring out the window.

She looks up, staring at Ash. "What's the matter?"

Ash drew close, looking like he wanted to sweep her up and rush out the door. Ash took Claire's arm and drew her away.

"The Seelie and Unseelie Courts," he muttered. "Theyre here, and theyre looking for you."

She frowns, "What? Why?"
