South walked away of West, who growled words to South, which South seemed to be ignoring. East was still was energetic, hopping around Churrio before racing around like crazy.

Will sighed, stepping forward, that's when a giant axe swung down from the wall towards him. He yelped, pulled he and Azrail backwards as he fell, the axe swinging harmless past them. He now realized what South meant.

It was an old one, from over one hundred years ago. It was a lullaby Tippy and Rin grew up with, though it changed a lot compared to the ones sung at the present. The words where an old language, which Tippy started to sing in a soft voice.

(Stupid internet changes!!! I had everything nicely written out!!! *angry gibberish*)

Churrio jumped back when the axe came down. Her wings snapped open and she fluffed up to make herself look bigger. Slowly, hesitantly, she folded her wings back up before apologizing to East, who she feared she had hit on accident.

(Ingredients for a compliment sandwich: Compliment, something to change, compliment. ;) )

Azrail grunts in surprise as he falls back with Will. He gasps some curse, staying on the ground for a few moments before attempting to stand. It was hard to take a deep breath, but nothing felt broken. It was probably just because of the fact he hit the floor and it shoved the breath out of his lungs. He glances at the axe, examining it and then looking to what could have been the trigger.

"Wake me up when the five minutes are up." Austyn mutters to Rin, wanting to fall asleep but afraid that if he fell asleep he would miss whatever happened and wouldn't be able to help... with whatever he may have to help with.

(I know how you feel... it happens to me sometimes *angry sigh*)

East had indeed been hit by Churrio, but didn't seem to mind, even though he had some fluff now sticking to him which quickly melted. He squealed in delight as the blade swung back.

Will looked shocked by the axe, but quickly recovered, standing up be still staying back as it swung back and disappeared. At least they where safe now. He offered Azrail a hand to pull him to a stand, hoping he was okay and he hadn't hurt him to much when he fell backwards. He couldn't tell what triggered it, but knew there would be more.

"Of course. Rest little sunflower," Rin said gently as he continued to rock Austyn side to side, "We can continue our mission when you wake up."
Tippy nodded in agreement, sitting on the soft purple carpet under him as he watched Rin and Austyn.

Churrio wasn't squealing in delight when the blade swung back. She was staring at the axe - or the path the axe had taken and where it had disappeared. "How in the world did Zio get over there then? We... Is there another way we can go? If not, let's plow on through." She was still very much fluffed up.

(Yes, xD That is my Churrio. Except, ya know, she's the raven version.)
(Yup yup yup.)

Azrail takes Will's hand and stands with his help. He leans against Will, taking tiny breaths. He looks over at Churrio, "Are you crazy? Just plowing on through? We should figure out-"
"We don't have time for that." Churrio snapped, "Zio's turning to stone. We have to help them which means we have to hurry. And if getting there in time to help her means recklessly heading through, I'm for it." Churrio is almost glaring at Azrail. This human didn't know anything.

Austyn lets himself relax and he drifted off to sleep. Rin and Tippy were so nice. They better not die without him.

"Oh oh oh! Run through," East said in excitement running forward as the axe swung, cutting him in half, "Whoops. Guess I need to fix myself."
He melted into a pile if lava, forming himself again. He looked very proud of himself, until the axe come back and cut him apart again.

(Yeah, that is 100% adorable. Adorable raven fluffy)

Will yelped in surprise as East got cut in half, barely listening to what the others where saying, except the fact apparantly Zio was turning into stone. He doesn't like the fact Churrio and Azrail are arguing, but not sure how to stop it.
"Well, how about we stop arguing," North suggested behind them, stepping forward and pulled East back so he wouldn't get cut by the axe again, "Fighting will get us nowhere."

Rin kept holding Austyn, rocking gently from side to side still. Tippy was staring at nothing, not able to fall asleep, unlike Rin, who fell asleep as soon as he sat down.

Churrio looks at East in shock. It took her a moment to remember what East had said earlier about him being something like a phoenix. In that time, East had made himself again, gotten chopped again, and he was being dragged by North to keep from getting sliced in half again.

(East is more adorable. So 250% adorable.)

"So that's why we should just go through." Churrio says. "Go through quick enough for things to not get us. Or perhaps I can teleport a few of you to Zio..."
"That sounds a tiny bit safer." Azrail notes.
"Oh, trust me, it's not, really. You can get lost in the void. If I don't have enough power stored, we could get stuck in the void. And even before, if I don't have enough power, it could turn into a dangerous sparky thing." Churrio chirps.
"Yeah, so no, we're not doing that." Azrail decided, taking the first deep breath he could in a while.

So now that Austyn and Rin were asleep, that left Tippy to keep watch.

East tries to go forward again, only to get dragged back by North, who holds him close. He squirms in her hands, squealing about how he wanted to do it again. He couldn't die as easily as others could, it was actually almost impossible. That didn't stop him from doing dangerous stunts, he quite enjoyed doing exciting stuff.

Will looks to North, who was scolding East, "What if we... froze the hallway?"
He liked the idea, it was simple and easy. Well, not super easy, but they had North who literally was made of ice, so he assumed that she could help her, maybe. If not, he could do it all by himself.
"Not a bad idea, I'm sure both of us could do it," North said with a small nod as she placed East down, "We are related after all."
"We are," Will looked surprised.

Well Tippy was good at watching, so everything would probably be fine.

Churrio was not too scared about East going and getting hurt because it seemed he could be just fine. Just a question, if East was fire and North ice, how were they able to be together without one melting or the other freezing? ... Never mind me, it doesn't have to be explainable.
Azrail nods, pretty sure that wasn't such a bad idea. As long as Will wasn't hurt, things would be fine. Being related to North... Wait, if Will was related to North and North 'adopted' Azrail would that make them very distant cousins or something?

Probably fine isn't completely fine, but its the best they have so its fine enough.

Well... because their powers where equal. So they canceled each other out. And North was actually more water aligned, but used ice to keep herself together.
East tackled Churrio, clinging to her again, because it was a habit of his, not a bad one, but just one that existed.
"Actually I'm related to everyone," North explained, "You got your magic from us!"
Will nodded, shifting to his 'demon' form as he brushed the walls, watching ice spread across it. He let it spread farther, until there was starting to be a thick layer inching across the walls. They where technically related if you back far enough, like really really far back.

Exactly. Tippy kept watch in silence, but nothing really happened, which he didn't mind.

Churrio didn't mind his habit, enjoyed it more than hated it. She stumbled slightly, but didn't fall. Churrio hugs East, smiling.
"Really? That's cool!" Azrail said, adressing North and her fact about magic. Azrail watched the ice encase the wall. He sure hoped this worked.
Churrio was itching to start and get to Zio. Zio was apart of the group, and since everyone had to stick together and Zio didn't look like she was coming to them, then they would have to go to her. If that makes sense.

Nothing happening is good... Or it could be the calm before the storm... Or perhaps the eye of the storm since they've already gone through a bit of turmoil?
