Warren
Warren's face was burning, he was so embarrassed.

Fala
*It is okay, I understand.* She walked up and hugged him gingerly, wanting to keep his spirits up.

Warren
Warren put his cheek against Fala's, content to be at her side.

Tara
Meanwhile, Tara had slipped away, having finished her breakfast, to her work station, where another was already working.
(I'm adding a new character. A mate for Tara.

(Cool!)

Fala
She licked at him, also watching Tara slip away from her sight.

Warren
Warren noticed a cake crumb on Fala, and licked it up.

Tara and the interloper(if I may)
"Who are you?" Tara asked the interloper sharply.

He responded, "I was assigned to keep an eye on you for a couple weeks to ensure you are fully healed," without turning around.

(Wait till I have him turn around. The reveal will shock Tara.)

Tala
He made a toy butterfly in his cage, only with a few materials he found around the lab and stashed them in his cage. He let it out of his cage, it flying to Fala.

Fala
She was giggling when she was getting licked, looking at the butterfly fly towards her. She looked at it touch her nose, getting curious.

Warren
Warren eyed the butterfly suspiciously, and pounced on it, pinning it down by its wings.
(Tala ain't gonna get Fala again.)

Tara and the interloper
Tara grabbed the male's shoulder and spun him around, to get the shock of her life: he wasn't a human. He was a morph. He had the face and fur of a domestic cat, and Tara thought she saw a cat tail flick past in the corner of her eye. The male's fur, a light blonde, was marbled like a tabby. When he lifted his hands to try to push Tara away, she felt pads through his gloves.
"What is your name, Kitty?" Tara asked, the word 'kitty' rolling off her tongue in a playful tone.
"D-david," the kittyboy said, fear etched deep into his features
Tara climbed onto the counter, receiving a look from David like she was crazy, and shifted so she was a lynx.
"So, Kitty what were you doing in my workspace?" Tara asked with mock severity, a playful purr rising in her throat.

Fala
She was shocked, speechless when she saw Warren pounce on it.

Tala
He was done, pulling at the cage door viciously. With all of his might, he pulled it off, running out and howling with such venom in it.

Warren
Warren sniffed the butterfly, and growled, "Your sister's doing."

Tara and David
"I-i was trying to clean it up. It looked like someone had intentionally trashed it," David muttered, and Tara clearly saw his tail straight down between his legs.
Tara looked around, and noticed some of her journals were missing and much of her glassware was smashed. "Someone wants to seriously stop my research," Tara said, a much less friendly growl replacing the purr.

Fala
She heard Tala's how, knowing that she wasn't happy. "Warren, Tala's out again." she said weakly, her ears lowered.

Tala
She came in the cafeteria, darkly and insane. She looked up and saw Fala, slowly walking up to her.

Fala
Her hair was on end, showing no fear when Tala was staring straight into her. In an instant, she got pulled by her collar, but no fear showed.

Tala
"I'm done with you. You will not avoid my strategies to help you. But if I have to do it this way, then I will." She pulled out two knives, one at Warren and one at her stomach. "Surrender to me, or else they both get it."
