Is the Exceptional Tester like a normal tester you can use over and over??

Yes, the tester and scanner from the diamond shop are unlimited.

Is there a way to get generator essences without buying them for diamond? "mean real money?"
And how you can collect scales to By something to the scale shop?

You collect scales by nurturing eggs. c: To nurture an egg, go to a egg's profile page and click it's picture. It will say something like "This egg is warm." You then do the action to counter it. So in this case you would cool it. To nurture a lot of eggs quickly, it is best to go to your hatchery, and click the blue button that says "Help Nurture Sylesties" just to the left of the green button.

You can buy essences on the trade broker for gold. Most users do not buy essence from the diamond shop. When you go to the trade broker, set the Type to 'Essence.' You can also find essence by defeating enemies, playing Jinxies Jamboree, etc. but the chance of obtaining one is very low.

I get frustrated when my traps don't work. Then again, they are only lesser traps...

Anyway, I was wondering if the chances of catching a Sylesti are affected by how much health it has, like in Pokemon? I've been trying to get the Sylestis' health down before I use a trap, but if that doesn't affect the ability to catch, please let me know!

Health affects it, so it makes a difference.

But in my experience, it didn't make a LOT of difference. Pets can still flee (kinda like safari zone) regardless of the health left when trying to throw a trap.

More often than not, players end up killing pets they mean to catch because they want to increase their chances of capturing. So its to your discretion. I personally always throw traps regardless of health aha.

Well. It's been like 2 years since something's been posted here, lol. I've combed through the thread like crazy, and I'm probably just super-unobservant, but where do you find actual Sylesti pets on sale? Like, not from the scaleshop, but from users with pets that are already hatched and stuff?

Hey, I'm new and I'm having an issue with my sylesti. It says I deselected my sylesti or something, even though I have no idea how I did that. I tried to put it back in my party, but according to the site, I can't until I complete my quests, which I can't abandon in order to try to put my sylesti back in my party. So basically, I'm stuck, unable to do anything. Help?
