Nethimir looked over at Light, leaning forward off the wall.

The little seahorse sits up, disoriented.

"Are you okay?" Nethimir decided to ask, standing up and swimming over to the side of the bed.

Light nods tiredly, getting out of bed.

Nethimir nodded silently, looking down at the floor for a few seconds before proceeding to stare at a wall.

(I think now may be a good time to start the split narrative)


Light stretches quietly.

Nethimir
She went back over to the wall, now bored.

Mono
A lone mer swam through a seemingly deserted area. There weren't any other mers nearby, and the place was wrecked up. This mer had a mask covering over her mouth, not showing whatever was underneath. She had some of her hair tied up in a small bun, and the rest spiked up around her head.

(i actually meant kappa but that works too lol)



Nila absently watches one of the bugs.



It's very quiet. While the place doesn't look completely lifeless, it's visibly not a very life-friendly area.

(I wouldn't know how to rp Kappa lol, I'd end up writing three paragraphs and then erasing them all because what I wrote was too cringy XD)

Nethimir
Nethimir thought about it for a second, then decided to ask Nila, since her brain wouldn't stay off the subject. "Do you think your parents would know anything about my kind? Or if they did, that is."

Mono
The mer ducked behind a few rocks, looking out at the vast, and quite barren, ocean, noting the very few fish that swam through the area.

(True but he's a silly lil guy)


"I dunno, maybe." Nila shrugs.


There's a lone house, but it's otherwise an essentially empty area. There's a small amount of wildlife, both flora and fauna, but it's sparse and unusually quiet.
