"Holding it is easy." Ash slid closer, circling her like a wolf. One finger pointed to the tip of his blade. "The sharp end goes in first." He said as if she hadn't weilded a sword before.

She rolls her eyes, "No, really?" She says sarcastically.

He jabbed at her with his sword, nowhere near coming close. "Now, try to hit me. And dont hold back."

She stares at him for a moment before swinging the sword towards his side, aiming for his hip.

Ash slid aside. In the space of a blink, his sword licked out, slapping her ribs with the flat of the blade. She could feel the bite of absolute cold through her shirt.

She went for his shoulder.

For the rest of the morning, they practiced. Or, more accurately, she tried to hit Ash and received more swats that stung and burned their way through her clothes. He didnt do it every time, and he never once cut her. And the only reason that happened was because he didn't really want to get hit by the iron.

She continued use to try and get him with the sword.

He smacked her backside with the sword, hoping to get her upset enough so she really, honestly wanted to hit him

She swung on him, sword against his throat. "Watch it."
