It's hard to imagine how it even could have happened- they're notoriously seers. Surely at least one of them should've been able to forsee the danger?

To be fair, it's not like they warned anyone about anyone else's downfall either. Maybe they just don't have visions of those or something.

Most likely there would've been a lot of survivors. But, it's not like that can be changed now. And it's not like any feathercrests can warn anyone about anything anymore either.
