Leanansidhe sat straight up in her chair. "A Token, darling?" Leanansidhe took the ring leaned back again, feigning nonchalance. "That might be sufficient. For now, anyway."

She nods.

"Now, come with me, dove. Dinner first, maybe a little gossip, and then you can run off if you like. I believe Puck and Grimalkin are already in the dining hall." Thay had both disappeared.

She follows her.

Puck wasnt in the dining room with Grimalkin when they came in. There was soup that turned everything weird swirly colors with every swallow, Leanansidhes questions had to mostly do with what happened with Virus and the scepter, and what had happened after.

She explains everything, answering her questions.

"And what happened then, dove?" Leanansidhe prodded when she'd gotten to the part about how she'd given the scepter back to Mab.

Ash was sitting in his chair, fingers laced under his chin, pretending no interest in the conversation.

She frowns, thinking. "Well, she didnt believe me, so Oberon stepped in, and then... He left." She says, pointing over to Ash, "Then I followed."

"But why did he leave, darling? Im about to lose a very costly wager, you see, so Id love it if you could give me a loophole." She scowled at Grimalkin, who sat on the table, washing his paws in a very smug manner. "He'll be simply insufferable after this, Im afraid. Details, darling, I need details."

"Mistress!"

Fortunately, she was saved a reply by the noisy arrival of Razor Dan and his redcaps. Still dressed in matching butler suits with pink bow ties, the redcaps filed into the dining room, every one of them scowling at them. Ashs eyes widened, and he quickly hid his mouth under his laced fingers.

Luckily, the redcaps didnt notice. "We stocked it with supplies, like you asked. Its all ready for the brat and her pets." He glared at Claire and bared his fangs, as if remembering their last little encounter. He had been in cahoots with Warren, the bitter half satyr whod tried to kidnap her and take her to the false king the last time she was here. Leanansidhe had punished Warren but spared the redcaps, saying they were only following their base instincts. Or maybe she just didnt want to lose her free slave labor.

She chuckles softly at the sight of them.
