He looked around, nervous.

There's other humans there. Along with two odd, llama-looking beings, a creepy spider snake creature, and four women who look almost identical to angels but have black hair and wings.

He froze up, terrified.

(Is he in the lab?)

The odd, snake-spider creature notices him first. She(?) heads over, leaning down so that their eye levels meet. "Hello there."

(Oof)

He whispered, *hi,* his body physically unable to move from fear. Like, he would litterally fall over if nudged.

She smiles a little. "There's no need to be afraid. None of us will harm you."

*what... what are you? Where am I? What are all of you?* then he winced and managed to look down, embarrassed. *um, no offense.*

"I'm a basilisk." She explains simply. "There's a few my kind here, they're just shyer. You're in a Sanctuary- it's a place where ethereals and humans can live safely without any threats from other ethereals."

*... do you turn people to stone?* he mumbled before wincing. *again, no offense.*

"Yes. But, when we wear contacts that doesn't happen. Which, we all are."
