"Maybe. I've seen a lot from my home. A lot of repeating things, but once I saw something new, that changed things. People from other places, different dimensions. It changed and things stopped repeating," East said in a wistful tone, as if thinking of something else, "It's fine, I think you should save your energy."

Will nodded, then froze in place. There was a figure standing in the temple, his father. But he was much much younger. His father seemed to spot him, then turned and disappeared. Will knew what this place was.
"I... think we are going to different... points of time," He said in a shaky voice, looking shocked.

Tippy looked a bit pale, but he always did, "You can't kill me. Not yet," He said weakly, having trouble talking with the blade pressed against his throat, "You know what will happen."
The King reluctantly let him go, looking at Austyn and Rin, "Your right, but I am not trying to kill you. That's where you are wrong."

(XD Yes, if no one else joins the competition, I will win! I can help you write more! ... Somehow... Perhaps.... *big unsure shrug*)

"..." Churrio was interested in this idea of things always repeating, and if they repeated quickly, she didn't think things would be very exciting or fun. Churrio nods when East tells her to save her energy. "So should we head back on foot then? Not sure where they would be."

(*victory dance* Yas! I guessed it! I just didn't know how to word it cause I'm strange... xD)
Azrail noticed Will freeze. He asks him what's wrong, spelling the word out in Will's hand. In situations where he didn't feel secure, Azrail tended not to talk if he could help it. He nods in understanding when Will stated the different point of time theory. It made sense.

"If you're not trying to kill us, what are you trying to do?" Austyn asks, going to Tippy's side. He didn't mind being wrong, though he preferred to be right. He liked to learn from where he went wrong.

(By default xD! Or I can put in a short story and make myself the winner =P... I'm joking... maybe! I need someone to help me write more xD, I'm unsure how you would do it though)

East nodded, looking around. He then grabbed Churrio's hand and ran in a totally random direction. He, unlike his name, was very bad with directions. He knew which way was east, but that never stopped him from getting lost. He did get lost quickly, mostly because he was going random ways.

(You did. Can you guess other thing a doos? Like... um idk, stuff. Also I now ship Azrail and Riley xD, amazing ship. Will is already shipped with Azrail or with Ace (when I write the book xD))

Will stared down the hallway for a second, still a little shocked. Then he pushed the feeling away, giving Azrail a reassuring smile. He wasn't about to tell Azrail he had just saw a younger version of his father, he would think he was crazy. 'Just thought I saw something, nothing to worry about'.

The King stepped away, rolling his eyes, "Five minutes. That's how long we have," He said with a nod, glancing at Rin, "I'm distracting you. I'm doing a very good job. Guess it's easy to distract the so called heroes."

( I had everything all nicely written but a sudden change in network made everything I wrote disappear... Of course you can make a short story and be the winner! I won't mind. xD And to write more... Perhaps we should hold something of a short story challenge. Weekly - or perhaps every other week - we give each other a prompt and by the end of the time limit, we show each other what we've got and can help edit and give feedback and such? Just an idea...)

Churrio follows, having no clue where they were heading and no idea where they had come from. She awkwardly hops after East, not able to run with the talons she had. Churrio spread her wings slightly to try and keep her balance.

(Yes, Riley and Azrail is an amazing ship. Have you finished writing a book before? (I almost did. Lol, I gave up on it even though I was so close! There's no plot other than an adventure through a land divided by war where one sibling is trying to go after another, but they end up switching places instead. So... No plot.))

Azrail nods and doesn't push for a better answer. Will technically didn't have to tell Azrail anything. If Will didn't want to answer, he didn't have to. Azrail holds onto Will's hand, signing with his other, 'Can we get out of here? I don't think I like this place very much.'

Austyn was very confused, "Til what? We have five minutes til what? Also, I never claimed I was a hero. Except I can be a hero because I'm a friend and friends are heroes. So that does make us all heroes."

(Aw, I know how that feels =/. Sorry for not replying right away I was just busy so wasn't able to write a huge reply. I won't steal your victory xD! I'm pretty sure the contest ends tomorrow... so I guess you got all three prizes xD? I do like that idea. I am usually pretty busy though, but I think it might work. I do like the concept!)

East was going in random directions, still very much lost. That didn't stop him from getting even more lost, something to be proud of... or just really stupid. Or maybe both.

(Short story, yes. Story, no. I try but I don't have the writing skills to finish it TwT)

Will nodded, 'I don't like it either' he signed back. He turned around, glancing back once more, starting to think he had seen things when he saw no one behind him, maybe he was just hallucinating.

"Can't tell you, it would ruin the surprise," The King said with a small shrug as he turned away, walking away from them, "I am the real hero. You are blinded by your ignorance."

(No worries. xD I don't think I have room in my stable enough to accept all three prizes... Great! We can smooth out the details of it later if you would like...)

Churrio was along for the ride, though she gave up trying to run, had tried to fly, but there wasn't quite enough room for her to do so, so she was walking after East, trying not to lose sight of him.

(Same, lol. xD Sometimes I try to do it over again to figure out where I went wrong... But then I just make it completely not like the original because I had new ideas.)

Azrail begins to lead the way back, trying not to think too much about what would happen if they got out on the wrong year. He tries to keep calm because keeping calm is the best thing to do in situations where panic can cloud your judgment and muddle up what you know.

Austyn asks Rin and Tippy, "Do you know what will happen? I'm sorry that I don't know. If you don't know, that's alright. But it would be awesome if one of us knew."

(Sure xD. I don't think anyone else will enter so... yeah we will figure it out xD)

East was surprisingly fast despite his small size. That's when he ran into North, making her jump in surprise. He hugged her as South huffed, looking uneasy. West just was chilling, not really doing very much.

(I just can't. I can't ever get it right TwT. I'm just a bad writer, that's all)

Will was sorta calm. He told himself he was hallucinating, because if he was, then he had only thought he had seen his father. That also meant he was crazy, which he did sorta believe. If he hadn't been hallucinating, that would mean he had really seen his father.

Tippy and Rin shook his head, "No idea," Rin said, "But the real question I need to ask is where are the others?"
The King didn't say anything, which was odd.

Churrio hopped into the room a few minutes later, smiling when she saw the rest of the directions. "Hi again! Where's Azrail and Will?" She asks no one in particular, walking forward now that she didn't have to hop fast.

(Practice makes perfect?)

Azrail wasn't worrying about such things. He held Will's hand and silently leads the two of them back to the others.

"Um... The others, last I saw of them... Wait, which others? Pink, Barks, and Blackout? Last I saw - or heard - of them was in the castle we're in. Last I saw Riley, he was leaving us again and exiting the castle. But as of the directions and Zio, Churrio, Will and Azrail, I saw them last gathering North. I don't know if they got the rest, East and South." Austyn relays all the information he had bothered to remember.

West shrugged, growling. Zio wasn't there to translate, so North did.
"West doesn't know," North translated helpfully as she patted East's head, "And neither do I."
"He's probably lost, not like it matters," South huffed, "It's there fault for separating. Where is Zio? I'd be more worried about where they are."

Will let's Azrail lead him, knowing he probably remembered the way back. He hoped they would leave here soon, he was getting worried. Time was a dangerous thing to play with.

Tippy nodded.
"Hm, we should find everyone in general and get to a safe place. I don't think what will happen soon will be good," Rin says in a totally helpful way as he runs out of the room, looking around for the others, if he could find them.

"Oh, that's sad. It matters if we lost someone! We need to find Zio and the others." Churrio nods and makes it her responsibility to find them. She took a moment and attempted to use her powers to either peer into the past - which took less of the magic she stores - or teleport to them - like some birds, she had a homing type of a thing and could find where people were with that, but this power took more effort and magic and could easily backfire and send her hurtling through space and time to who knows where.

(Perhaps. *big shrug*)

Azrail knew time was dangerous to mess with. He hesitates a moment when he came to the end of the time changing hall. He looks to Will, for a moment looking as scared as he wasn't allowing himself to feel.

Austyn takes Tippy's hand and runs after Rin, wanting to stay with those he still had and not lose any more. His energy stores were depleting rapidly and it would only be a few moments before he would seem tired and unable to go any further, but a few moments later, he would be bouncing off the walls with the energy he didn't know how to contain and make it last.
