(There are so many things going on right now might as well ping everyone! Also next time please warn me of a time skip.)
For the next few hours Boreal waits in the den she has made, her tail lashing. She watches and waits, seeing if anything changes where the light came from. She falls asleep a couple of times, unable to keep herself awake. Eventually she wakes up feeling somewhat rested. She becomes uneasy, "Kora I'm going to go see what's over there. You can come with me if you want I just... have to see what that is." She stands up and takes a few steps into the snow, the sun just starting to rise. She stays halfway on the ground in a sort of crouch, sacrificing a little speed for some stealth as she lets her camouflage keep her somewhat hidden.
(also forgot to mention to the new players that any hybrid can talk to any other hybrid. If your hybrid is part human you can talk to both hybrids and human if you wish. All hybrid-to-hybrid speech will sound like animal noises to any human listening.)

Boreal walks a ways through the woods before smelling something cooking. Attracted by the smell of whatever it was she walks a little closer. She stops in her tracks when she sees figures standing over... what is that? She was mildly frightened by the crackling, writhing creature. She inspects the figures, recognizing a scientist among them. She crouches low to the ground behind a tree, wanting the food they had over there but fearing to come any closer. Her large form was probably very visible to the well-trained eye.

She had stayed a few feet behind her sister, not wanting to go at first but deciding against letting Boreal go alone. She hadn't been focusing too much but she thought she saw a smaller light. Not being entirely sure though. Of course she wanted to warn her sister, but she had no idea what Boreal was planning and making that much noise could give away both their locations.
