She cried out in relief, heaved him onto her back, turned into her animal form, and bounded off. She had never went this fast, but her talons barely touched the ground as she sped through the trees.

Once the meal was prepared he set two bowls down at the table. "Enjoy." He said with a kind smile before turning to watch the people playing outside in the pool. He wished for nothing more than to join them...to be human like them. He wished there was a way to ahead the skin of his, to look more like a person. Maybe if he spoke to father after all it wasn't the 15th century anymore.
