Arianna, with her sensitive hearing, bolted upwards so fast she hit her head on the top of her bed. She grumbled and cursed loudly. She hopped out of the bed and quickly made it. She undid all the locks, typed in a password, and opened the door to see a shivering Maia. She laughed a bit and invited her in.

How long has he been in the woods? Hours? Days? Years even? When you live forever it's hard to keep up with time, and sometimes it just gets away from you. The humanoid like man slowly made his way about the forest area keeping and eye and ear out for anything out of the ordinary. Nothing caught his attention though, nothing smelled of infection. Maybe the world was clean then and he would be able to do as he wished wouldn't that be nice? Doc let out a low sigh as he broke through the underbrush into a rather proper lawn. That was new, a home...no a mansion all the way at here? It was intriguing if nothing else. On first though it might be better to keep walking, sometimes people don't take kindly to you intruding on their lives, though then again their might be something worth looking at in there. Taking a last look at the woods he decided to take a look at the home:

Arianna's mother's nexus web outside had been broken. Arianna jumped. Intruder she thought. She was already outside before her thought was finished. She saw a creature with plague garbs on. She laughed. She walked up to him, her hair swishing in the breeze. "You are?" she had a small scratch underneath her chin that had a bit of blood still leaking out. She had gotten it from the alpha dinosaur. "I'm Arianna, I guess you could call me Ari." she was extremely talkitive at the moment. Only her friends knew she did this when she was nervous or afraid.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Tero crashed into the woods behind some mansion. Something flew out and hit him, knocking him down. He scowled in that general area and rubbed his head.

Arianna heard the crash and jumped about a foot in the air. You could tell she was loosing her aura of calmness. She looked to the back of her house, excused herself from the plague garb wearing man and went to investigate the back. She saw another boy with wings. She giggled nervously. "Hi. I'm, uh, Arianna?" she said questioning her own sentence. "How, how do you do?"

"I do just fine, aside from flying things knocking me from the air. I'm Tero". He was definitely sure she wasn't a human. They weren't so calm when meeting him. He stood up, dusting himself off.

When the woman spoke behind him he simply turned to her and stared for a moment. He didn't have a chance to answer though before she had left again. So he just followed her. Maybe she could show him around the place. He didn't mind it really, after all he had been here many years before, even before the mansion was built. The land had changed so much since then. As the harpy like boy came into veiw he stared in wonder. What so many monsters today?

Maia was watching this whole encounter with wild eyes. She smirked a second after realizing she was still a fox and quickly changed into a human. She had decided on a non-binary today, as she had no intention of stealing souls, at least not at the moment. She bit her lip, turning to Ari, and hoping for more clues to who these people were.

She gave a small smile. "Uh, would you like to come out front?" she asked. Her stress was overloading and she could feel her growing teeth poking into her lip. She tasted some blood and started cursing.

She noticed him, blood dribbling from her lip, she called him over. "So, it's a monster party today I guess," she said with a stressed sigh. Her canines had stopped growing and were overlapping her lip. She ran her tongue over the blood and sighed again. It was going to be a long few weeks while her parents were away...
