She went to a couch that looked in ok conditions with only a few holes from moths, and took a few pillows from the other ones to make a sort of makeshift bed. Lying down, she yawned and was soon fast asleep.

The cup of water still held in her hand fell onto her head, and she awoke with a start. "Bwrrruh!" She cried, shaking her head. She finished what little water was still in her cup and then put it away. She dropped to all fours, her tail straight out behind her as she pounced on a fat rabbit that somehow got in the tunnels. Picking it up she brought it over to a table with a drain and knives of all shapes and sizes. She skinned the rabbit and put it's pelt up to dry. She cooked the rabbit in boil style and cut herself a paw. She cut off the flank and handed it to you.

She went back to the drying pelt and took off little bits of fat and meat still stuck to it. She opened a drawer on the table and took out a sewing kit. Taking the pelt, she did a few measurements and started to cut off bits of fur. Sewing feather like designs into the pelt, she yelped and sucked on her bleeding finger, which was poked by the bone needle. Sewing more designs with paw, she started to shape the pelt into a circle-ish like shape. Curving it, she made a small golden rabbit fur hat that fit her head perfectly. She looked at it with satisfaction and cut two holes on top for her ears. She took the few fur scraps she cut off and used them to make more designs into the hat.

Lint shrugged and set the hat on her head. It was a perfect fit, and she went back to lay down on the couch, content with her creation.

"If I was a bear where would I hide? At a number of twelve to seventeen most likely in a large cave. With all the killings going on there's bound to be a blood trail to them somewhere. My best bet is to start off at the Blumoon camp, the trail should lead me straight to them." The leopard said nodding to herself as she broke into a run. She loved to run, to jump over the trees that had fallen over her path, to slide through the mud and dirt to reach her end goal. It was like she was free yet at the same time she wasn't. She was bound to their as she was to this form, she wasn't human not was she a full leopard. Why couldn't the world have made up its mind? She neared the Blumoon camp to see all the houses and den torn down and shredded. It was sickening really to see the place like that. There were dead animals everywhere, even Jane and others she knew. The cats ears fell back as she growled lightly. These bears would pay of this, there was no way that she would let this go like it was! But first, the dead needed to be respected. The rest of the day was spent gathering wood for the fire and wrapping those that had lost their lives. One by one they were slowly placed on the fire and sent to the after life. Jane was the last, with her dead kit in her arms. "May you finally find the peace that you wanted." The leopard said lighting the fire under the wolf. As if by her imagination she saw a ghostly vision of Jane, cub in arms as she rose from the body. The mirage waved kindly and the leopard waved sadly back before she noticed the elegant tiger Caun walking toward Jane. In a moment of happiness the two hugged each other before both waving to the female cat then disappearing into thin air. Goodbyes were always the hardest part of having friends.

The night seemed to come all too quickly as the fire gradually died down to nothing more than a pile of ash. The leopard sat with her knees to her chest as she watched the fire die away much like those she had known had done. "I never even told her my name....Maria, my name is Maria." She said letting a tear fall down her face as she buried her soft cheeks into the legs of her pants. She felt so alone, like no one cared that she even existed. All of her family was dead, everyone she knew was dead, leaving no one left to comfort her. She hadn't even a partner both in life and in her work. She was doomed to live alone forever, to die with no one at her side.

Lint yawned and got up. "It should be a full moon tonight, I want to howl a bit." She said, jumping up the stairs that led to the trap door. It was hidden in RedFoot's old Alpha Den, and it was under a fake bookshelf which was easy to lift. Closing it behind her and setting the bookshelf back in place, she climbed to the top of the den. She thought she saw smoke, but she couldn't tell and let out a long howl. It was like the final note on a violin, lasting long and clear. As it ended, she howled again. She didn't care if every creature in the world heard, which they probably did, as long as she got to howl like she used to, just a little pup with nothing to care about.
