Yeah, I once got an Enhanced Bulbori essence from a satchel I got from a purple satchel. I never thought I would get an Enhanced essence so I was very happy that time. But that's the first and last time I got an Enhanced essence. So yeah, extra incentive would be nice. For example, 1st place gets 20k gold, 2nd place gets 10k gold, 3rd place gets 5k gold. Of course, people who use level 50 or above pets have to be separated against people who use pets below level 50, because as you know, the level of enemies on the raid are same with our pets' level. If they don't get separated, it's obvious that people who use lvl 26 pets with fire elemental and runic elven gears would have big advantage.
Yeah, that would be the case too. XD
I once do a raid in Fungus Grove. The raid's pace was faster than usual so I was pumped and do my best to get 1st place. After the raid is over, as usual I went to see my score on account overview, but I was shocked because there was only two names there, mine and someone (I forgot who she is XP). I then realize that it's not about quantity but more about the quality of people who join the raid. :D
If you, Hund, and me are joining the raid together, I'm sure it will be over quickly. XD

Yeah, and those who take an arena team also have a very unfair advantage, admittedly. I have done it, love to do it, in fact, and the enemies do not last long when I have those guys ^_^
At any rate, it is really late or early depending on how you want to look at it so am heading to bed.

I don't really like doing arena because I need full concentration when fighting them, especially against Malgron and Team Sprocket. One mistake from these 2 bosses is enough to make you lose. XD
