A few people cheered as Temorin handed her the cutter, wrapping his hand over hers.
"Ready?"

Her smile grew. "Ready as I'll ever be. "

He lead her hand towards the cake, cutting the bottom layer. The very first piece of cake was reserved for the wedded couple. He handed off the cake and cutter to someone else to have it divvied up between the nobility.
The layer they had cut into was red velvet, so Temorin abruptly left.

He returned with a white icing decorated piece of chocolate cake. He disposed of the velvet and handed her the plate of newly cut chocolate. Had she looked over at the cake, she would have noticed a missing slice on the top layer.
"There, have at it." he said as he drew his finger through the icing and dusted it across her nose with a teasing smile

A large smile crossed her face as she noticed he had changed the cake. She wondered where he got the chocolate from, but she didn't ask. She took the chocolate cake slice in her hand, laughing softly as he wiped the icing onto her nose.

He smiled at her, laughing a bit. He managed to steal a nibble of her slice with a quick motion of his fork.
He looked away and acted as if he hadn't seen or done a thing, somewhat like a child acting innocent after a household crime

She noticed that he had stolen a small bit of her slice, but just shook her head with a soft laugh. It was...cute. He was cute.

He let her have the rest of her cake in peace, having not mch of a taste for cake.

She finished the rest of her cake not long after. It had been....a very long time since her last piece of chocolate cake, and she wanted to make the most of it right now.

"There's more if you want it." He offered kindly, offering to take her small plate.

" Well, I don't want to eat too much. The other guests deserve a slice too, after all. "
