"I refuse now let me go!" Claudio growled. The bears laughed and scratched him. Claudio roared in rage slashing at the other bears in a blind rage.

She tensed. He hit the leader of the bears on the muzzle, and the elder bear looked full of rage. She curled her tail around her, as it was colored green and helped her hide.

On the elder's order, Claudio was brought down with the butts of the other bear's spears. There were growls and Claudio screaming in pain. When they moved away he was tied up. "What do you want!" Claudio growled.

"Respect the elder!" The bears chanted.

Grabbing a smoke bomb from the belt on her, she threw it on the bear that was tied up. It was just a smoke bomb and didn't hurt him, but the smoke was so thick you could almost cut it. She ran to him, kicking other bears into each other and making them fight thinking the other was the escaped bear. Taking off the tied rope, she grabbed the bear's paw and led him away as the sound of fighting bears grew louder.

Claudio coughed then he saw her. "Who are you?" Claudio asked.

"Just a wolf helping you stay alive" She replied as she led him away from the commotion and to the old RedFoot base, which had many secret cave systems. They were crawling with mice, which she caught on sight and offered to the bear. "Those bears are crazy, I don't want to see anyone else gone to their mad ways" She said as she smacked her paw dead on the head of a mouse, smashing it's head.

"They are crazy." Claudio said. "Thank you for getting you out of there. I guess I am in your debt?"

"No, it's the least I could do to help the last few animals alive in this hell. I met up with some TrueHeart's and loners, but the loners are weird. . . . I don't trust them, so it's best we stay at RedFoot base. Heh. I remember the battle that destroyed RedFoot, driving them to the brink of extinction . . . Anyways, these tunnels seem safe and we have enough mice to last a decade or two" Lint said as she popped the mouse she caught earlier into her mouth. "There's a stream of water to the right" she said, pointing to a miniature river that trickled on the rocks.

"Thank you but what if the bears come here and find us?" Claudio asked.

"No one even remembers this place. These tunnels are well hidden, and if they do find us we can run along them almost forever." She said, filling a cup with water.
