"No amount of commands will control a body that refuses to respond," Tara said, before placing a paw, which seemed to be bleeding, on Fala's brow. Her eyes flashed, and she whispered, "It is done."
(She shorted the mind control device, and was able to lay the foundation for her to be able to control Fala's body if she ever gets mind controlled again.)

As Tara lifted her paw, a red spot remained on Fala's brow. Warren quickly licked away the blood, and continued licking Fala's face, trying to wake her fully.
