Knuckles almost wanted to make a sarcastic remark. Ya think? He thought bitterly. After a few more seconds of what Sonic would probably classify as 'mopin' around', He growled and dragged himself to his feet. "Anything else?" He shouted to the other two.

Amy shook her head, "No." she said.

I looked around wondering where the others were, I shrugged, and settled back down on the ground.

Knuckles grunted. "Then I'll see you later, I guess," He replied, strutting off.

Tails looked at Amy and shrugged.

Amy sighed, "Where would you like to go?" she asked Tails.

"We could try Hydrocity," Tails suggested.

It didn't take long for Knuckles to arrive at his destination; The Master Emerald. He walked up to the large gemstone and exhaled softly. Finally.... He paused and glanced around and started when he noticed Sonic there. "S-Sonic?! How long were you here?!" He demanded.

I jumped up startled by Knuckles voice, "I was here when I left that frozen lake." I said yawning a little.

Amy nodded, "Is it far?" she asked.

"Really close, actually," Tails said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Knuckles stared the hedgehog down. "You know how I feel about people coming to this place..." He said slowly. He could feel his fur bristling.

I sighed, "Yes I know, but you know I would never touch the Master Emerald." I said leaning against the tree.

Amy smiled, "Let's go then." she said.

Knuckles reguarded Sonic a moment, then let his fur down. He hadn't realized his fists were clencehed as well. "Fine, Hedgehog," He sighed in resignation. "Fine,"

I yawned and lay down leaning against the tree again.
