"Teamwork," Reverie muses. "Heh, I can roll with teamwork~!"

Irin watches how her weapon works and her mouth twitches as if wanting to smile but afraid that enjoying it too much would not be acceptable. She takes the weapon after securing her gloves, proud of being able to hold and use such a weapon. She looks at the others, all ready, as she listens to the instructions of getting out and working together. She nods once, her expression rather blank as she tries to hide her reluctance at the thought of having to work with the others.
She hadn't done much work with others, preferring to work on her own. She almost always finds that those who aren't as ready as she is tend to get in her way. She takes a deep breath, holds it for a second, before releasing it and stepping up to the elevator. "Good luck to all... all of us." Irin says haltingly, still not used to the idea of being suggested to work with others - a suggestion she takes as seriously as an order.

i step into the elevator with the others, watching the doors slide closed. i tap my pencil against my sketch book nervously, bouncing my leg and biting my lip under my mask. the ride down is much faster than the ride up, it seems. it might just be me, though.

the doors slide open when we hit the ground floor, revealing the large guard by the door. he barely gives us a glance as we pass, yawning and crossing his arms as we exit the building.

the street outside is as peaceful as before, people driving past and not giving us a second glance. they probably see tons of people in weird clothing.

Alastor turn to the others and said, "So what do we do now?"

"uh, i don't know?" i shrug. "i guess lets just find somewhere to sit and plan?" i suggest, shrugging. yeah, that seems like a good idea. i mean, it would be nice to take a seat and work out how we are going to "zero out" as the woman put it.



as we stand around and talk, i begin to get the distinct feeling that we are being watched. looking around, i don't see anyone watching us, just the occasional passerby or car driving by. "does anyone else feel like we're being watched?" i ask after a few minutes of looking around.

Alastor said, "They said that drones will follow us," Alastor quickly look around with his eyes.

"Being watched at every moment! How lovely," Reverie giggles. "Planning, huh? I'm not the best at it... or following plans for that matter, but I'm willing to try something new!"

"plans are not my strong suit either" i admit, shaking my head "but you're right, it's probably just the drones whizzing around in the air. then again, i didn't get this feeling when they were fling around in the room...

just as i think that, something whizzes right beside my head, leaving my ears ringing. a bullet. someone is shooting at us. it takes me a moment to register, before i leap behind a parked car. i can't see anyone who could be shooting at us! where are they!?

Alastor ducked down and move to park car where the blond male is. "I think I know who our target is," Alastor said. He looked over to the blond male and said, "Maybe we can use our things to locate the shooter,"

"my visor isn't locking on to anything!" i say, panicked. i look around, it looks like the bullet came from one of the roofs, so i start looking at the buildings around us.

my visor locks into someone on the roof top, zooming in on it for me. "wait, i've got someone!" i say, pointing. it's a woman with long brown hair and a longer gun in her hands. she's laying on the roof, pointing the gun around to see if she can get a good shot from her angle.
