"Kori, calm down. It's just Mali" She giggles and the small pixie sits on her finger

"....oh," Kori says, relieved. "Sorry. I'm so used to being on edge...."

Mali nods "It's alright, I'm used to it when Amethyst first saw me she did the same thing" Amethyst smiles, "But that was years ago"

Kori stands, shaking dirt and leaves off of himself. "Years? How long have you known one another?"

Mali sighs "Since her parents were killed.." Mali says looking down. "And I'm pretty sure that was like when you were captured-" Amethyst says

"...Oh. Well then." Kori swallows hard. "That's pleasant. Well, it's nice to meet you, Mali."

"Nice to meet you too," Mali says, smiling

Kori smiles back, his eyes slightly tired. He turns, finding a large bush of berries. "Sweet. There's my ticket to not looking completely suspicious." He busies himself with picking as many as he can, stabbing himself with thorns several times. He curses. "Doesn't make it any less demeaning," He mutters.

Amethyst giggles

Wrinkling his nose, Kori shoots her a dirty look out of the corner of his eyes, but he chuckles a little himself.
