A young girl is hopping up and down with excitement within dreaded sign in line. She loved it when the reaping came around and always hoped she would be picked. But, she couldn't remember which reaping this was for her age group...
"lets see..."
"12 is the first...."
"13 is the second...."
"14 is the third..."
"15 is the fourth..."
"16 is the fifth..."
"Oh! it's my fifth reaping! YAY!" She claps her hands together and a itchy tingle races up her spine. she glances behind her and sees its one of the guards looking rather bewildered. He had prodded her with a shock stick and had expected her to drop to the ground twitching with pain. That wasn't the case with this one though. "HI!" she exclaims. "Are you excited? cause I sure am! This is my fifth reaping! I really, really, really, really hope I get picked! I've volunteered before but then the girl who had been chosen originally, revolunteered herself! Its like they don't want me as a tribute! Ha! Can you believe that? I mean after the reaping they tell me things like, "your too naive" or "this is not something to be excited about". ugh really!" She babbled on and on dragging the poor guard with her. Fellow guards looked at him with a sympathetic look. They knew who she was. Playful as a kitten she was.
......................
"And our female tribute is... DragonDawn"
Her bubbliness melted away. A chilling voice was heard. "Finally... It's my turn"
It shocked many to say the least.
