Chris heard a voice. "Hello?" She asked. She walked out from the other cave toon and saw a man. "Hi?" She
told him. "Your arrow?" She said confused. He was a Native American. She shook her head. She stood awkwardly. "Umm..." She quickly shoved the mini hologram projector back in her pocket.

"Chris??" asked Violetina..... "There's someone outside. Who do you think it is?? Should I go look?? you never know if whatever it is will be a danger to us, Peppermint, Crystal, Domino, Powdered Sugar, Bronze Sun, and Golderina. If that matters to you, you'll let me go look. And remember, I'm a karate champion............. So should I?? Because I think Peppermint is scared. Her nostrils are flaring and the foals are huddled near their mom. They look scared."

Chris waved her off. "I-it's fine. It's a man." She said. "Peppermint probably was frightened by the demon, I bet." She said. "Are you coming in or not, Mister?" She called. She went back to the back. Powder and Domino were not close to each other. "Hmm..?" Said Chris. She walked over to Domino. "Why don't you go to your sister?" She asked softly. The filly had not opened her eyes. Strange.

"Ok..... Suit yourself. I'm going to go look anyways." Violetina said. She walked slowly out of the cave and peeked around, not seeing anyone. Then she saw a man holding a black horse. "Woooo!! Who are you???"

Domin o opened her eyes. They were blood red. Like a demon's. "Violet! Look! Red eyes!" She exclaimed. The filly looked fine, though. But Crystal thought it did not look fine. Her nostrils glared. The filly tried going to her mother. But crystal backed away. Then, the filly's eyes glowed.

"Chris!! What's going on!!??" she said. "Oh no...... This can't be happening!! She turned into a demon horse!!" she said, as she saw Domino's eyes turn a bloodshot red. "Run Chris!! Run!!"

Niyol stared at Chris. A young girl? Out here alone? He thought to himself as she came out of the cave. He only nodded to her in response to her question. His hand still rested on Yiska's shoulder, but he could feel the stallion's unease at the sight of another human. He whispered something in his native tongue to his stallion before removing his hand.

Yiska's ears flicked forward as the girl came out of the cave. Her voice is a different pitch then Niyol, but he still wasn't comfortable about seeing her. Upon hearing Niyol's voice and the removal of his hand, the stallion shook his mane then trotted off away from the caves.

The young man took a moment to watch Yiska put distance between them before slowly walking to the cave entrance. He knelt down to study the tracks left behind from the demon horse. He stood up silently, walked a few steps and picked his arrow out of the cave wall where it lodged itself between some rocks. As he did so he heard another female voice. Two girls...out here alone? He pondered this, before turning to look at what they were so upset about. Niyol saw the filly with the crimson eyes and quickly nuked his arrow. "Take your horses and get out of here!" His voice was harsh as he aimed his arrow at the filly. "You will do best to not watch.."

"Oh no. No no no no no!! Domino doesn't deserve this!!" Violetina said, running over to the man, screaming "Don't kill her!! She's only 10 minutes old!! Why do you want to kill her?? Why!!!!!!" she said, sobbing uncontrollably. "Come on Chris. Let's go. I don't want to watch this. It's too sad. Crystal, Peppermint, Powdered Sugar, Bronze Sun, and Golderina, come! Now!! Leave Domino." Violetina said, grabbing hold of Chris's arm and yanking her out of the cave. She pulled 3 halters out of Peppermint's saddlebag, and put one on each Powdered Sugar, Bronze Sun, and Golderina. She tied Powdered Sugar to Crystal, told Chris to get on Crystal, and threw herself on Peppermint, holding Bronze Sun and Golderina in one hand, tryng to tie them to Peppermint's halter that was under her bridle. "Got it!" she said after she succeeded in tieing Bronze Sun and Golderina to Peppermint's halter. "Giddiup Peppermint! Heeya!! Come on Chris! It's not safe here! The man said so!" she said to Chris. "And sorry I called your horse black. He looked black. I know he's a blue roan now though!" Violetina called out to the man.

Chris stared. "To kill is to spread." She said simply. "The soul of a demon will only find a new body to control and steal. And it will split into two. And grow in power." She explained. Powered Sugar had not been scared at this time. She had quietly walked next to her sister. It was as if the young filly said "To kill my sister, kill me first." She nuzzled her demon sister. Domino had quickly grown horns. The transformation was happening fast.
