Oh, gosh. It's been quite a while since I advanced from the zones that came before LG. If you had a decent team and plenty of time to kill, it really doesn't take that long if you're not invested in the dungeons and whatnot. Exploring and expanding when you get to the LG is a different story though, everything takes an eternity to gather and make xD.

But good luck with that! I think you'll be fine as long as you have a good party. :)
