As you continue to climb the stone path you notice a small stream on either side of the path, trickling down, as well as this steadily growing sound of water rushing. When you finally reach the top of these makeshift stairs, you discover you're at the top of a rushing waterfall, which is spilling down the other side of the mountain.You also spot some draconians pawing at the rapid waters, enjoying themselves.

B: try to get their attention?
C: Climb down the side of the waterfall a bit, to check if there's anything behind it?
D: Turn back?

I decide to climb down the side of the waterfall.

The scent of the snacks drew the attention of several of the flaming critters, who began to gather around you in the hopes of snatching something. 5 of them particularly stood out- A bouncy light grey one with blue flames, a black and gold one with green flames that was intent on trying to tear a hole into your food bucket in order to grab a snack, a bright red one with orange flames that was trilling to nervous little Dragonfly, who had been napping on your shoulders for the journey so far but was now up and about, a irritated orange one that appeared to be hissing at you, demanding food,and a vibrant, sunny yellow one that seemed to be wearing a necklace around his throat.

As you travel down the steep side of the waterfall, you realize you were right- behind the waterfall was an opening indented into the rocks, where you could see some gilled draconians splashing at the back of the flowing rapids with their tails. Every inch of the mossy rocks underfoot was damp and slippery. from behind the flowing curtain you could see you were behind one of many waterfalls that dipped down into a big flowing river, that slid down the mountainside and eventually poured back into the sea.

Eventide is laid across your shoulders, puffed up a little and with his ears pricked, as if the critter was guarding you. But.. the pier seems to have shifted to another part of the isle! There is a stone path twining up into the mountains, beside the pier a beach spreads out to meet the sea, and is that a cave you spy at the base of some hills?

The sun is shining warmly down your back as you begin your journey, a fine day for a fine exploration. There is a stone path twining up into the mountains, beside the pier a beach spreads out to meet the sea, and is that a cave you spy at the base of some hills?

I wander along the beach

As you wander along the beach, you come across a small hole in the sand, as if something had been dug up. Clearly, someone or something had been there today. Over in the shallows of the sea, you could spot vague outlines of what might be draconians- or was that just overgrown plants? Farther off, near the far edge of the beach, you noticed a handful of sandy looking draconians basking together in the sun's warmth.

A: Investigate the small hole- maybe you might find something?
B: Search the shallows of the sea, where something is swaying along the waters?
C: Approach the snoozing group of draconians?
