Tyka yelped in surprise as someone grabbed her arm, her paw pads fading back to their usual color. The fire died down instantly, without fuel it couldn't burn for long. Tyka nodded her thanks, not much of a talker in general and also because what she had just witnessed. They called her a murderer! She didn't know why, but those words hurt her to the core, she had never hurt anyone, much less kill someone.

Liana dragged Tyka close, gray eyes darting around as she soon pulled her into spaces between shops, darting through the mixed maze easily.

The two guards kept fighting, now trying to figure out what the heck was with the fire and where the heck the lion had gone. "I swear, it was a cat halfie!" "Yeah right, she probably ran for her own life!" "No! I swear!"

Tyka was getting out of breathe, not being outside much meant she didn't exercise much and had a very low stamina. She had no idea where this halfie was leading her and she quickly lost where she was. She was wondering how this cat halfie could do it for this long.
"Hey you two," A bird squawked picking up both of them with it's huge blue wings, "Come with me okay? I can help you!"
Tyka was terrified, clinging onto the white cat halfie, looking up at the bird. It was a blue jay and she could tell it was old, it's feathers where starting to get grayer and dustier. Tyka noticed it's eyes where pale blue and yellow, this bird was blind!

"Ah!" Liana yelped, she didn't like this. She had a destination to take this cub to, a place she knew as safe and home. But she wasn't about to get upset at the blind bird, she gently held Tyka just because. She mewed up in confusion at the bird.

"I shouldn't have scared you guys like that, my apologies. My name is Yzulo, I am a descendant of the Thunder Bird and I saw you two in my futures," Yzulo said placing them down and gently guiding them into his house nearby.
Tyka was still trembling, also trying to catch her breathe at the same time. Once she was inside she looked around in wonder. The house was huge, with a carved table in the living room. Hanging down from the roof where different string contraptions, dream catchers, hammocks and other cool things.

Liana looked around with wide eyes, kitty ears twitching curiously. She no longer worried about her destination to take the cub. "Oooo~."

"Sit down you two," Yzulo had come back with a tray of tea and biscuits, sitting himself in one of the carved chairs that resembled a bird.
Tyka hesitantly sat down in one of the chairs and took one of the cups of tea, sipping it slowly to avoid burning her tongue. She was still nervous and had no idea what she had done for all this to happen.
"Well, are you going to tell me your names?" The old blue jay asked poking Tyka with a feather, "I know you are a lion cub, but I have a feeling you don't know what happened, why they are after you."
"Tyka," She whispered shifting nervously in her seat, finally shaking her head to show she had no idea what she was.

Liana was now completely calm and comfortable, gently patting Tyka's head for some reason. "She said Tyka. I call myself Liana!"

Yzulo smiled at the pair, "Nice to meet you two! I have something that must be shared with you, please don't be scared," He said making Tyka confused, what was there to be scared of?
Then she gasped as his eyes changed into a more vibrant color, mist starting to swirl around him as his feathers turned a blueish yellow color. He was crackling with electricity.
"The lion as black as night and the cat as bright as day shall go on a quest,
To find the enemy they must first look through the lion's eye,
To restore the land they must destroy the evil that lays unseen,
Only the power of love will set all free," He said before he turned back to what he looked like before, a normal blue jay.
Tyka watched him with wide eyes, purring gently when Liana patted her head, trying to hide her shock and fear, but failing very badly.

"Woah ... " Liana purred in wonder and curiosity, not really trying to hide her emotions.
