Mostly just consider it to be a slow acting poison/neurotoxin. Small amounts just slow someone down and weaken them, large amounts would slowly kill something but I would imagine it's vary greatly depending on size of Dreamer and there may even be ones resistant to it (ie ones she can't manage to sting because of thick hide/scales, etc)

Really wanted to play around with the idea of a character that had gotten hooked on a drug enough to take it multiple times (just to then see your bit about Dreamers being made out of repeat users..)

So then I was playing around with the idea of drug resistance and came up with the idea of making poison out of it.

Still like the idea of Kate being petrified of it now knowing her ability is the only that saved her from losing herself, but worried about ever running into it again because of the previous addiction.

_{I may have taken that idea of struggling to avoid an addictive experimental drug that makes someone fully a monster if they ever take it again actually from LISA. Plus gives potential to have her dramatically killed for sake of plot if anyone makes her take it again don't mind me}
