He jumped slightly at the sound,stopping and looked around with wide blue eyes.

he sniffed the air again. "still safe and not too far away. we will be upon him soon if he decides not to run away that is." he said to D-H-3 quickening hisd step even if it pained him.

D-H-3:
She followed best she could,whipping pained liquid pearl tears from her eyes. Some dropped down and solidified to become pearls,some with a soft lavender shine to them.

Luke:
He shook himself a bit,confused. 'I'm probably hearing things...again.' He looked around once more before sighing and pulling his lab coat off,shaking it out and folding it up. He just felt he needed something to do with his hands.

he got to the corner of the street that Luke was on and stopped. "so. he is just down this street here. if he asks about a howl or something just say you never heard nothing if he asks about a wolf hybrid. say you saw no-one. bye" he said as he slinked off towards his home but he sat atop a nearby building instead.

D-H-3:
She looked from Lukes' turned back to after Xandor,she then looked back at Luke and rushed up behind him. At first it seemed like she was going to jump on him in attack but rather...she partially clung to his back. "Luke!"
Luke:
He gasped in shock,spinning around and seeing D. "Oh gosh,D,your...okay...oh my gosh,I'm so sorry. We have to get you back,I know you don't like it,but things are different and you need to be taken care off." His rapid speech seemed as tho his thought where to full of worry and relief that they didn't seem focused at all on what he had heard.

he sat on the rooftop and grimaced. "not my damned problem" he muttered and forced himself to stand up and walk away.

D-H-3:
She almost pulled back but was in to much pain to run.

Luke:
He gently put a hand out to her. "Come on.It's not to fa-HEY!"
D-H-3:
She had spun around and begun to move away in the direction of the lab already,not wanting to walk with Luke,who jogged to catch up.

Luke:
"D,please." He looked around for any reason she had come to him,but seeing nothing continued with the dragon hybrid. She moved slower and slower,her eyes getting droopy and her head lowering slowly. "Luke..." She said softly.

he got agitated and was inwardly yelling at himself but he decided against his better judgement to follow them back to the lab. the one place he swore never to go near again. he absentmindedly rubbed the back of his neck were his original name was remembering hat they had done to him their but he wanted to follow and he didn't know why.. he felt compelled to follow...

Luke:
He put an arm under her limp wing and knew she was struggling just to stay...just stay.
"Your okay...it's okay.I swear,I'll get you back.It's my job." He said,but as she leaned all to much into him he knew he probably wouldn't be able to get her inside in time to the right room.He took on most of her weight,which was a lot,as they came into view of the broken building. It had been devastated and was barely together. They had had to come together,the few that had stayed,and take care of the projects and specimens that had survived the shake. D was one of the last few surviving specimens and it was hard enough without them getting lose and getting hurt.

he followed via the rooftops and when he saw the building in ruin he nearly growled at it, 'smells like death' he thought as he slowed down while following luke and D-H-3. "i wonder... if anyone still there would recognise me?" he mumbled " well. i was the start of the buffer program... a program meant to buff the humans abilities by crossing their genes with other creatures..." he closed his eyes as he descended to the pavement behind luke and D-H-3. he hid in the shadows that he could watching and following because of some unknown force drawing him in.
