Mercedes wheeled his oxygen tank into the common room, taking a seat by the thick glass window and the bookshelf. His lifted his legs up on the cushion, and rested his chin on top of his knees. His eyes had dark circles under them, and he for once looked stable. On top of the fierce monitoring in the commons, he had a male nurse sitting not too far away with sedatives loaded on his belt. Most patients here knew Mercedes was very unstable, but very now and then he was too tired or in a better mood, and came into the commons to draw or read. Still, everyone typically kept their distance either because of his fits or his "contagiousness". Which wasn't true, he was almost done healing, but would most likely need the oxygen tank for a couple more years.
