(The mainland is savanna, yes, but there are also currently places like the Poison Jungle in books as well. There is a significantly larger amount of tree in the roleplay than on the map as well, this being before the Tree war and all. I wouldn't doubt there would be pines somewhere.)

(( The poison Jungle is made of leafy trees, and sure there could be pine, but that would be miles and miles away from the hives. I'm don't think Pollen is that far away lol. ))

Pieridae sat on a large rock that overlooked the savanna. Her green and yellow head swiveled around, scanning the horizon as her wings tucked close to her sides. Her belly stung and she cringed. Probably just that weird fruit I ate earlier, Pieridae thought.
She saw other dragons in the distance and laid her head on the rock, sighing. She tapped her talons on the hard surface. The sun's heat beat down on Pieridae.
