"Well there's Slytherin.They're known to be sly,cunning and ambitious with a thirst for power.They can be rude sometimes but they're mostly alright.Ravenclaw's are creative,clever and unique.They love to learn and are usually logical.They aren't afraid of speaking their mind and can sometimes come off as rude but they're really not. Griffindor are brave,daring and a bit reckless with a craving for adventure normally.They can be quite big show-offs and break rules quite a bit,but a Griffindor will always stand up for their friends."Alfie explained.

"Well, we could try sticking to the most mainstream corridors after all no one would expect a student who's trying to sneak out to just use the main corridors. and they have the most doors so if we do hear someone coming there's lots of them to duck into" he suggested
She nodded " Good thinking, but I got a key to the herbology greenhouse gate.... that may be a better option " she said with a smirk, this kid thought quick on his feet, that would be useful. However it was only the first day, and if they proved to be a nuance then she would defiantly rather trim the willow than listen to her brothers lecture

"huh I'm not sure if I want to know where you got it. So you know the area the best lead the way." he gestures for her to take the lead and takes his own wand out. true he knew pretty much no spells but one time his sister had stolen their fathers wand and taught him the shield charm. it had taken her a year to teach him but he had gotten pretty good at it before their father found out.

Avery nodded taking off her black and yellow scarf and placing it and her robe in a small satchel that was straped across her torso, the last thing she wanted was to get the house docked points, this one was going to be on her if nothing else. As she walked to the door she paused " is there anything else you want to know, or that I need to know?" she asked as a last call
(I think once we leave the dorm we should post in the RP thread, what do you think?)

Avery nodded one last time before stepping out the door her mood getting more serious as she did, she had help mind the wings of phoenixes and owls before, and she had what she needed for that but Griffins were more temperamental, not to mention where there's a baby there is a ma'ma near by.
