"What's a thunderbird?" Tess asked Epsilon, not entirely sure what creature he was talking about. She had heard of griffons before, and she's vaguely heard of hippogriffs before, but never a thunderbird.

"The weather is not right for a thunder Bird too cold..... cant be a Occampy, the plumage is not bright enough, and an owl wouldent be that loud" Avery noted as she observed the other smaller groups. " My guess would be what ever it was the grounds keeper may know, or we can check out the forest, there is good cover there" she said Before Turning to Tess individually " Thunder birds create big lightning storms and their wings give them a unique flying pattern, but we would have known if it was one of them.... more than likely its a hippogriff or a griffin, but they wouldent have landed on school grounds unless something is wrong" she said seeming glad to share her knowledge, already starting down in the direction of the forest near the little hut on the edge of campus

"What if it's... a really big owl? This is a magic school, there's probably potions or spells to make an owl really big, right?" Tess suggested, hoping she didn't sound like an idiot while nodding along with what Avery said, trying to remember everything. "Or maybe something really is wrong here? And that's why a... hippogriff or a griffon is here?" Tess wondered outloud, worried.

Avery chuckled at first " there are potions for that, but its not likely" she added as she kept a distance from the old willow tree that sat between them and the little hut

He had a valid point, but there were a couple of holes in his theory " that my guess for now as well, but with Hogsmead close by and hippogriffs being solitary creatures its probably not a herd separation, unless its a wayward foal" she said taking off her thick black robe, and rolling her long sleeve shirt up to her elbows " And there's always something strange going on, or I'm causing some mischief according to my brother, never a boring day really" she said as the hut drew closer

He grinned "Sounds like i'm gonna like it here. I guess I'll count this as an early tour." Epislon added as the hut drew closer he liked this girl she had spirit.
