"Sure, give me the stick." Bucky ripped off his sleeve and knelt by Peter. "This is really gonna hurt, kid. Will you be able to handle it? I'm going to straighten out your leg and then tie it that way." He tore the sleeve into long strips. Then he picked up Peter's leg, straightening out the bend in the middle of his shin. He pressed the stick to the side and started wrapping.

Clint hardly had time to hold the kid back as Bucky grabbed his leg and straightened it out. A hand went to cover the boys mouth which resulted in his hand getting bit as the boy went to scream. "Easy now...it's alright." Clint said holding Peter back, careful not to hurt the kid further. Tears streamed down Peter's face and he shook slightly from the pain.

Bucky finished wrapping what he could of the sleeve around the kid's leg. "Can I borrow this?" He grabbed a webshooter off Peter's arm and webbed the stick in place. He felt his chest tighten when the kid tried suppressing a scream and failed, biting Hawkeye. How many times had he himself done the same thing? He shook his head slightly and finished webbing. He gently laid Peter's leg down and looked at the kid's face. "Sorry. You gonna be alright?" He really hoped he would forgive him for this.

Peter wasn't able to answer past the tears and the shaking. Once he calmed down Hawkeye released him, slowly helping him lay back. "Bucky I need to talk to you for a minute." The man said looking down on Peter who had curled up into the fetal position. Poor kid...god it was all he could do not to embrace the boy like any father would but now was not the time.

"Yeah," Bucky stood up and motioned to his left. "We can go over there, if you want." He looked at the kid. Poor thing. All that pain and maybe it was all for nothing. Bucky wasn't a doctor, and field dressings weren't always the best. All he could do now was hope the leg healed right and that Peter didn't have to walk on it for a good two months. He turned to Hawkeye. "You wanted to talk?"

"You know he's likely to die of shock now right? Without proper medical treatment?" Hawkeye said a bit cross. They didnt even have a fire yet and he was over here putting broken bones back without thinking of the consequences! "It doesn't matter now...could you find some sticks for a fire? I'm going to try to see if I can build or find something for a shelter."

Bucky glared at Hawkeye. "We're probably dead already! Do you think I asked for this?!" He motioned all around. He stormed off, going to pull up that bush he'd found over by the creek. As he stormed off, he called back, "Your stick was the only one we had. And I'd much prefer to stay invisible and cold than targeted and warm." When he reached the creek, however, he didn't get the bush at first. He sat down on the edge of the creek, one hand to his face. What had happened? What went wrong? Had Thanos actually won? Were they trapped here forever? A tear slipped down his face. He wiped it away and got up. He pulled up the bush and headed back to camp.

What? How could they be dead? What had happened? Shanking his head some Clint made his way back to camp. What now? Without anything to keep the boy warm he was going to die. No fire no warmth, unless of course the...shared body heat. There had to be another way though. Kneeling next to the boy he draped his over shirt over the child. "Hang in there kid, I'll be right back. I'm Going to find help alright?"

Bucky reached the camp. He didn't see Hawkeye. 'Probably gone off to sulk,' he thought, sitting down to tear the bush into sticks. "Either of you see where Hawkeye went?" he asked Scarlet Witch and Peter. He saw Peter curled up under Hawkeye's jacket. Going over, he laid a hand on the kid's shoulder. "You alright? Peter? Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you but if I hadn't your leg wouldn't heal right and you'd be all messed up. You were really brave, most people pass out when they get their leg set. Are you alright? Well, all right considering?"

The boy didn't answer. He was freezing, a fever having set up in the wound. All he wanted was for the pain to go away so he could sleep. Hawkeye was already making his way farther into the misty world, searching for anything useful. There was nothing here...in fact it all looked identical in ever spot. When he turned back he found himself back at the camp in no time as if he hadn't left. "What the-?" He questing looking around confused.
