"Calamari, if your pet is aquatic, it'll be fine, the ship is going to sink, and Pika can swim away fine" Risza told her

Jordan was lazily swimming in the deep, his scales aglow. He didn't think he was anywhere near any other merpeople. Until he turned the corner of a rock and saw somebody. His scanned immediately went out.

Adrian looked out of his hiding place. The water seemed to be getting turbulent. He swam out and looked around. He had been playing a childish game, but now he was getting worried about the current in the water.

Aaron clung to a rock as he sat beneath the surf. The current was sting and he didn't want to get smashed to smithereens. He squeezed his eyes shut. This storm had taken him by surprise, so he couldn't get to land now. The riptide would be fighting him even more ferociously.

Joyce was fighting the steering wheel. He yanked out to one side to avoid rocks. "Why haven't you taken the sails down?!" He screamed. "The windds are going to snap the mast like a twig!" He struggled to keep the ship level.

She looked Risza straight in the eye, then shot up in a cloud of black ink

"I've been trying to make sure we survive, thanks!" The boom suddenly swung and smacked her in the back, causing her to smack into the side of the boat, knocking the wind out of her.

Ren ran to the sails. He almost slipped but managed to keep his footing. He started trying to bring in the sails. He was trying his hardest to get them down but everything was wet and slippery.

Kaide glared, but gasped as he saw purebloods and mersharks swarming the ship, and one with hair and a tail of fiery orange, shout 'now!' He felt sick, and swam away, not wanting to see whatever they did.

"Princess are you shure we should be doing this?" Tala asked the Heir of the Mer kingdom

Jordan watched the others nervously, simply floating there, watching. Thorn he turned and swam away.

Adrian swam to find his older sister. He struggled only slightly against the current as he looked around the dark ocean. He saw the looming shape of a ship above and merpeople gathering around it. He quickly swam to join them.

Aaron was almost dislodged from his rock with the next wave. He squeaked and held on tighter, his eyes squeezed shut.

Joyce fought with the wheel. "If we don't deal with the sails, the mast will break and crush the ship. Or lightning will catch it on fire and therefore, catch our ship on fire! Now get up and help Ren! Where's our captain?! My lungs are hurting from yelling over the storm!"
