"Alright then if you say so" I sit on the tree roots, ready to rescue her if needed. In honesty I had never seen anyone try to leap across the river though I figure I could do it if I wanted to.

I bound to the bank and leap easily across the river, then I reach back and grab her in my jaws pulling her to safety.

"You probably could have made it on your own, sorry about that" I grin sheepishly "It's just when water is involved I get paranoid, I have seen enough wolves drown in my life..." I turn my head away, my smile disappearing. After a moment I look back at her, my smile replaced though on the inside I was still sad, but I was hiding it well.

I don't see how, most wolves around here have wings. Mine was cut off when I was a pup *sadness grew over me as I imagine myself with my wings*

At the mention of humans my eyes narrow and the fur along my spine begins to rise in anger.

"The humans killed my family" I growl "At least you are still alive." I leap into the air and fly high into the branches on my tree den to sulk alone.
