Terrain: A dense forest with clearings and rivers

*nightbreeze walked around the forest along side a river*

I stand on a thick tree branch, looking around the forest. After a moment I leap down from my perch and curl up under the tree roots, my large form fitting well under the massive roots.

I close my emerald eyes and sleep. My black fur and wings blending into the shadows.

*I come along a big tree and sees a wolf in the roots. Not paying attention my paw slips and I fall into the rushing water*

Hearing a splash I awaken instantly, leaping out of the roots and glancing around until I see the wolf in the river, I bound over, knowing even I have trouble in the turbulent waters and wondering how well she can swim.

*I kick my legs and paws and push against the current. It takes me a while but I finally make my way out the water. I start coughing up water gasping for air*

I bound over

"Are you alright?" I ask, concerned.

*coughs* I-im f-fine...... *looks down at the ground still breathing heavy. I shake all the water off my fur*

Spirit pounced on his sister, his tail flicking back and forth. Yipping playfully, he rolled off of her and onto his back. His wings stretched out and folded as he stood up on his feet, letting out a disappointed whine. Meaning, 'Why won't you play with me?' She snapped her jaws when he faced her and growled in a light unthreatening way. She clearly wasn't in the mood.
