[WARNING: GORE IS INCLUDED!!]
Caedes' Eternal Hunt (Finally Finished!!)
The sky is dark. A new moon. A cold wind whistles, howling through the trees. Cold, penetrating eyes that of a color of fresh-drawn blood, glow in the darkness. A long yellow and purple tongue rasped around her mouth, drooling, and searching for a victim to pounce on. Her two barbed tails swirled around her powerful hind legs, as she let loose a belt of maniacal laughter, shaking the trees, and scattering all the creatures of darkness. Tonight was the night. It was Caedes' night, the night of the hunt. Caedes was sure this would the the best. She had especially sharpened her horns to perfect points of menace. Caedes was out for blood. She would only spare her denizens, the only mortals she allowed that could see her in her all powerful and immortal form. Her white teeth glowed in the dark, and by smiling she revealed many rows of Cheshire Cat teeth. Suddenly, her ears perked, and went stock still. Not even a could've hair moved on her statue-like form. A small rustling sound could be heard. A glistening glob of saliva formed on a protruding fang. Caedes crouched, muscles bunched and rock hard; tensing and following her nose. A warm, familiar, and rich smell of human filled her nose. How long has she had not eaten fresh meat! Suddenly, she pounced, arching paws with dagger sharp nails, a living ballistic weapon. She landed, her heavy body weighing the poor victim down.
"How dare you come close to the entrance of my realm?" Caedes roared. Her breath smelled like rotten carcass and flesh.
"I am sorry," the poor man gasped.
"Sorry doesn't cut it. Your kind has ravaged my realm, and killed many," Caedes sneered.
"Please?" He whispered.
Caedes laughed. "You are a wimp. Only wimps beg. A real man would've stood up and fought. Your mother should have thrown you away and kept the stork. Why should I spare you?"
"My mother didn't throw me away because she had a heart. She loved me."
"Love is stupid. Heh. Love me? Hah! Hate me? Amazing. Don't know me? Try judging me. Think you know me? You really have no idea,"
"You..you...you...MONSTER!!"
"I know who I am. You now know who I am. I don't think you know who you are, however,"
"Who am I then?" The man challenged.
Caedes retorted, "You are a stupid, wimpy, mortal child with no brains, and little to live for. You have too much sass for your own good, so now, I am here to end your life," She then struck. Her claws ripped, mauling the man. She swiped at his neck, which snapped with a dull crack and satisfied, sat back on her hind legs. "Too bad he was so annoying. If he could watch his mouth, I could've kept him as a pet. He was funny. Too stupid though," Caedes thought.
The sweet waft of fresh blood stopped her in mid-thought, and she dug in. The juicy flesh's aroma and flavor drove Caedes' wild instincts to take over and she gulped the meat down, leaving a pile of clean bones. Caedes howled with delight, and regain energy. She would hunt again... Soon... Especially the stupid mortals that were idiotic enough to enter her contest... Well, besides the three best... But that would be later. For now, Caedes' silhouette dimmed, then disappeared into the forever darkness of her realm.
The End!! (Stupid Sylestian like me!)

Ok, my shot at writing, I might end up adding more later.
Chapter 1: Into the darkness...
Sela tied her long, loose blond hair into a very small bun, enough to hide under a helmet. She was going to go into the forest and kill the creature just like they had killed Michael. Michael.... the boy who had always been there for her. The boy who had also comforted her and raged with her when she was forbidden from joining the army because of her gender. The boy who had sacrificed himself for her. Anger and guilt coursed through her. She put on the armor, and was immediately tempted to pull it off; it was weighing her down so much that she could barely move. I will never be able to run in this junk. Still, swallowing her fear, she crept out of the castle where she lived and into the darkness of the undergrowth...
Chapter 2:
Two days earlier...
It had started like any other day for the two best friends. They had been hiding from the cook after stealing some scones. Sela and Michael were taking refuge in the stable, while petting the horses all the while.
