(Needlestar) "hmm" Needlestar mumbles then looks at the claw marks, they were neat and strait. "this must be a sign, it has to be" Needlestar says then her tail twitches.

(Birdsong) Birdsong yawns with his eyes drawing to a close, she layed down and dozed off as he curled into a ball under the tree. he opened his eyes and everything was black and sightless. he walked around then saw a grey tabby tom (Ripplefur) sitting a few meters away and he disappears. he backs away then see's a fire light

Birdsong's VISION: a dark grey bird calling a warning call, a blazing oak tree falling to the ground. pine needles turn into white sharp claws of a brown and calico cat fighting a dark ginger cat made of fire. the fire cat falls to the ground and turns into leaves that cripple. the grey bird and calico turn into shadows of they colors then they combine and turn into a giant silver eagle screeches then flies over Birdsong with leaves flying in the wind

Birdsong wakes up with a gasp and looks around. it was a dream, he sighs then sits up and cleans his shoulder. 'what was that anyway?' he thinks

FallenStorm bounds into the nursery, excited to see his family. He sees SunStrike and pads over to her. He gives SunStrike a few licks on her muzzle, but then stops when he feels a little tug on his tail. He turns around and is surprised to see LeafKit, pawing at his tail, trying to get a grip. "And just what do you think you're doing, LeafKit??" LeafKit's ears droop down and his tail curls in between his legs. "Sorry, FallenStorm, I just have no one to play with..." FallenStorm purrs. "You'll be an apprentice soon, LeafKit. I think I have an idea for a mentor...Maybe I'll go talk to NeedleStar.." At the mention of NeedleStar, LeafKit's ears perk up. "Really!? Ok!" SunStrike gently scowls at LeafKit. "Shush, you'll wake everyone up!! An apprentice won't be any good making the clan tired, will it?" LeafKit purrs excitedly. "Ok SunStrike, I'll make everyone proud! I'll be the best warrior PineClan has ever seen!" He climbs up on his caretaker's back, then nuzzles down to go to sleep.

(Needlestar) Needlestar hears the mews of Leafkit then steps out of her den and looks at the nursery, 'a new apprentice will be here soon' she thinks then sits down in the warm sun. "we will be careful but we must go on with our everyday lives" she says to Ebonypelt then looks up at the Tall Pine. 'Starclan please bring us peace' she thinks

Fawnstep watches these events unfurl from a desolate corner of the camp, worry and fear surrounding her and infiltrating her every thought. I can't be here right now! She dashes out of camp, driven by her fear and sadness.

(Sunleap, Needlestar's mother) Sunleap looks up from her nest and see's Leafkit in the nursery. 'ah how kits grow up' she thinks then remembers Needlestar as a kit and how she was always bright and happy. she sighs then licks her paw and washes her head. she gets up and awkwardly stretches, the scar under her right leg made it hard to walk. she walks out and sits next to a little shaded part and sits in the sun

Ebonypelt felt lost, like she was in a twisted web of a spider. She was caught in something she knew little about, and it frightened her. How could she go in with life like that?

(Needlestar) Needlestar looked back at Ebonypelt and mews "you have done something great for us, now we know what might happen" she comforts and mews happily to her. "and i know Leafkit will be an apprentice and he will need a mentor" she smiles and curls her tail around her paws

Ebonypelt snaps back to reality. "Yes I understand that. Whom did you have in mind?" She asked calmly. What if it was her? What would she do? Would she make a good mentor, or would she suck at it?
