Unlike other elves, this young male prefers to wear hooded black robes - similar to that of a mage. Underneath the black robe laced with intricate golden designs (which was kept secured around his waist via a belt of sorts) is a lightweight, v-necked, red breastplate, which is layered on top high necked, silk like garment which is of similar colour to his robes.
His breastplate bears black dragon like designs surrounding blue gems, and a strip of black cloth goes across the armour, ending in a gold chain which is connected to a pin at his belt, where a white tussle hangs off. Similar white tussles can be seen dangling off the his black shoulder plates, and his griffin badge.
Lucian tends to wear a white scarf around his neck as well, and black gloves hide his hands. While most elves prefer bows to swords, Lucian is one of those who prefers melee and magic combat, however he does know ranged skills, and is pretty good at a bow. As such, a scabbard can be seen resting on his left hip (although he is ambidextrous, so one may find him wielding the sword in either hand). A small little lantern hangs off his other hip. Lucian wears black boots.

A necklace bearing alternating blue and green gems hangs off his neck.

There is a preference to magic and swords, but he can use daggers and bows with ease and efficiency.

Personality:
An ethereal beauty whose predator like grace masks the cruelty and darkness that lies underneath. Lucian, despite his name, prefers the darkness and night to all things day and bright, and can often be found under the shade of a leafy tree, deeply immersed in one of his many books. Perhaps one may be able to catch him playing his flute, among other musical instruments, or singing as well.
That aside, when alone, Lucian prefers the peace and quiet he gets, as does Nightbreeze, making them a good pair. However, while this elf may be at times, kind, brotherly, loving and friendly, has a darker side to him, one that mirrors a predator, both in terms of grace and beauty, as well as deadliness and secrecy.
Sarcastic and cold to most people, especially strangers, others may see Lucian as an unapproachable idol, but to friends, Lucian's heartwarming actions and concern for them shows them his sweeter side - the older brother who is always helping others out. Though... he is more introverted, and prefers to keep a low voice, rarely being seen shouting or getting furiously angered.
In addition to these traits, Lucian bears a keen, sharp mind, and prefers to 'fight smart' as he calls it, no matter how others view his methods as underhandedly. Well perhaps not the most liked person in the school, there are those who find comfort in his presence, including Yuri and other animals, aside from Nightbreeze.
However, as he can be rather 'rebellious' and sharp-tongued, he doesn't get along well with Flynn and a few -rather many- teachers for his talking back, and is sometimes considered a 'bad boy' because of such. Though it may not be the best description, it's one of many that fits him. But... 'enigma' is probably the best.
Bio/History:
Lucian had an average life before moving to the academy, if one can consider becoming an orphan at the age of 10, 'average'. Yet, the loneliness didn't seem to affect the elf...much - he had Nightbreeze after all, and friends who took him in. But, the loss of his parents were a blow, a blow he hid well.
As a child, his parents were his everything - and Lucian was a chatty, happy, energetic boy then, and deeply enjoyed family time. His parents taught him magic, first aid, archery...etc, and Lucian was happy. Yet after an accident, one he blames himself for, his parents faded away, and Lucian turned dark.
While the change shook many, Nightbreeze remained his constant friend, and with the griffin's help, others starting regaining their trust in Lucian, and it was almost as if things had returned to the way they used to be... minus the lively chatter form the Aurelius house. During this time, Lucian 'jumped' house, moving from friend to friend, but mainly stayed with NIghtbreeze.
As time passed, it was the griffin's parents who suggested the pair to head for the academy, after noting that they appeared to have the affinity for it - and it was in accordance with Lucian's parents' wishes. As such, the pair headed off, and after 5 years are currently awaiting their graduation, when they can finally return home.
Anything else:
Paired with Nightbreeze... and surprisingly, this elf, or non surprisingly, is talented with gardening, and cooking as well. He does a variety of things, and is somewhat good at them, such as knitting/sewing, drawing and singing - well, alongside other musical talents such as flute.

Cunning and sharp witted, the griffin greatly resembles his partner. However, if Lucian were the sea, then Nightbreeze was the moon and sun, bearing a strong control over the elf's personality. In a way, the usual 'rider as master' belief no longer holds true for this pair, when the riding is the one mainly in charge. Yet, it's simple to say that with their near synonymous personalities, the master and servant is also interchangeable.
Like his rider, Nightbreeze is cruel, but less so. A predator yes, filled with grace and elegance, but not with the dark desires that inhabit the depths of Lucian's heart. However far the elf may fall though, Nightbreeze is sure to follow, and this causes Lucian to think his moves through, for the elf fears to harm his partner.
Well more quiet than the elf, and far more aloof, this gryphon always seems to give off a brotherly aura, tending to draw others to him even if he doesn't want to. It's an annoyance to both him and Lucian, but Lucian takes comfort in this aura, finding solace in the serenity that his griffin radiates.
Perhaps the calmer of the two, Nightbreeze tends to be the voice of reason in the pair, but is rarely seen talking - he's telepathically connected to Lucian, so his aversion to talking is no hinderance. Even amongst friends and family, speaking is a rarity for this male, and even coaxing a laugh from him is considered a miracle - yet with Lucian, both things comes naturally, even if the two are more akin to discussion in their minds.
Loyal to the core, this griffin will never turn his back to his friends, unless in a situation where he needs to. Even then however, such a thing is painful for him, and it's with a great deal of will that he'll betray a friend. Yet such a trust must be earned, and Nightbreeze isn't one to trust others too easily, or let him in his heart. Alongside this, Nightbreeze has a reputation of being a very trustworthy person - not just because he can keep secrets, but because he keeps his word as well.
Bio/History:
Nightbreeze's life was as normal as a griffin's could get, and pretty uneventful as well. At least until his best friend lost all he held dear, and in the small village they lived in, caused a huge blow to the routines of each villager. It was needless to say it was a big event that took place.
But, despite this disturbance, Nightbreeze couldn't very just leave his friend in the lurch. So as Lucian wandered around town, hopping from house to house as he sought sanctuary day after day, Nightbreeze prepared quickly a room for his friend, and after 'round two weeks, had his friend settled in. Though in order to not cast all burden on his friend's family, Lucien still moved around.
However, the human still stayed close to the griffin, and their friendship only strengthened as the time passed, till finally Nightbreeze's parents pushed them to join the academy. With finally consent form both human and griffin, the adults sent them on their way, and it was soon that the two were enrolled in what was considered the most prestigious academy in the land.
Now, after 5 long years, they're close to graduation, and while having somewhat enjoyed their time at the school, they just can't wait to go back, back to the family who cared for them - and return the favour. With thankful heart, the pair turns towards a new start.
Anything else:
Paired with Lucian - while Lucian takes care of cooking, Nightbreeze hunts and gathers. As a surprise to many, this griffin can read, and helps with gathering supplies and such. Unsurprisingly, Nightbreeze is a great babysitter.
