Juliana nodded and literally skipped to the bathroom. She opened the door and walked inside. Even Velvet's bathroom was majestic... She never thought she would ever say, think, that in her whole life. She took off her tattered clothes and slipped the dress on. Wow, it fit over even her...pregnant belly... Thinking that, she sighed. Too bad... Too bad Gabriel wasn't here... It was his child too... She didn't know what she was supposed to do when the time came. She remembered doctors saying that she wasn't fit for pregnancy... They said they'd have to do an operation... But she of course did not want to. Sighing, she slipped the slippers on and peeked out the door.

Hearing the bathroom door open again, Velvet slowly turned so as not to startle Juliana and gasped aloud. "You look beautiful." she stammered. Rushing over, she gently slid the gloves over her hands and started brushing her hair gently. "You look absolutely gorgeous!" Velvet cried, fussing about with the bows after Juliana's hair was long and silky. Creating an intricate french braid twist on top of Juliana's he'd, she tied it off with a ribbon and said, "No bonnet today. Your hair is too pretty to hide under a bonnet. I'll be right back, il going to change into something blue." Walking back into her closet, she picked out a lovely royal blue gown with maroon ruffled layer underneath. Slipping it on, she grabbed the royal blue slippers and gloves and slipped those on also. Moving the pink dress back into its case, she placed the pink slippers and gloves in their spots and strode back out of the closet. "What do you think?" she asked.

"You're...absolutely gorgeous beyond compare!" Juliana exclaimed. "Like a princess in a fairy tale!" Velvet looked like an Angel...a perfect person... The, she thought of something to ask Velvet. "Velvet...I'm pretty sure you know I'm...pregnant...and do you know anything about giving birth?!" She asked, the last part of the sentence bursting out of her mouth.

"Why thank you!" Velvet said enthusiastically. "And yes, I knew you were pregnant but I have no way to help you on giving birth. I'm only 16 you know......" Pacing around the room, she looked at Juliana from every angle and pointed out, "10 mothers m I right? Somewhere around there? Who's the father? I mean, not to make you uncomfortable or anything."

"Oh wow...you're, um, right..." She said, nodding. "And the father..." She sighed. "He's-he's not alive...he's dead..." She whispered. She looked at Velvet. "I-I'm scared Velvet." She admitted. "I'm only 16 as well..." She was scared. She thought of the possibilities.
I will live, but no baby.
I will die, but yes baby.
I will live and so will the baby.
We will both die.

"Oh. I won't proceed on that topic then. I can see it pains you." Velvet said. "And you'll be alright Juliana. Don't be afraid. You'll both live and you can stay and live with me here. You don't need to worry. Everything will be alright." Thinking for a moment, Velvet came up with a an idea. "However, if you'd like some information, I can take you to see a doctor?"

"A...doctor? Maybe...I suppose it wouldn't hurt..." She said, considering the idea thoughtfully. "At least an Ultrasound...?" She said. She at least wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl. If it was a boy, she'd name him Gabriel Jr., after his father. If a girl, she'd name her Gabriella...

"Okay. Let's go then. However, we should probably change into more practical clothing.........." Velvet explained. "Let me get some pants and a t-shirt for both of us." Walking into the closet again, she took a Caribbean green pants and t-shirt off the rack and handed them to Juliana. Next she took a dark magenta pair of pants and t-shirt off the rack and slipped off her gown for the pants and shirt. "This is weird." she admitted. Placing the gown back on the rack, she reached out of the closet and took the gown from Juliana's hands. Stepping back out of the closet, she said, "Ready. Just one more thing though." Weaving her hair into an intricate french braid twist up do like Juliana's, she said, "Ready." again, tying one magenta hair bow into her hair so people would know she wasn't a commoner.
