She did the same before freezing, hearing something.

A soft groan of a barely alive boy.

Virv pauses too.

She took off to the sound, flying quickly.

The groaning, while sounding closer, also seems to be softening.

Virv hurries towards the sound.

They find an unconscious teen in a dark alley, probably only 15 or 16 years old at most. He had a massive bite mark on his neck akin to a Strix bite, and was very pale. He was shivering violently and making horrible groaning sounds. He had a small picture in his hand.

She landed, horrified. *is this boy on this list? He doesnt seem like anyone evil.*

Virv sniffs him, and her expression darkens. "He's been attacked by a rouge Strix. I'll go hunt it down- you make sure this boy doesn't die."

*how? What do I do?* she asked, panicking.

"Just stay by him; the blood loss won't kill him. But, I would suggest nipping the mark with your venom so that it numbs the wound."

She nodded and nipped the mark. The boy winced but then relaxed some, the pain lessened. He was still very weak, though.

Virv heads away to hunt down the rouge.
