"Oooh! Yay! We're almost there!" Churrio was itching to go faster but she couldn't really unless she flew and flying was hard with East and if she stayed on the ground, it was an awkward hop. Churrio glances back and grabs onto South's hand, "Come on, you too."
Azrail smiles at the laugh and comment, turning Will's hand over so he could sign into his hands, 'Most definitely. I'm also sorry because I called you my boyfriend without asking permission. But I'll ask now, will you be my boyfriend?' Azrail then turns his own hands over, placing Will's on top in case he wanted to sign back. Or he could say it, that would be fine too.

(*squeaks and turns into Jynx* Don't leave me out of this adventure! *bounds after you*)

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's one of my questions: how do you know every one so well? It's not like you had time to memorize each and every one of our weaknesses." Austyn was wondering how the king knew so much.
Riley huffs in annoyance, pushing the king back and away from Rin and Tippy with a wing so Rin can get over his fear. He spits the lava in his mouth down at his talons and quickly stomped the fire out, curling up and resting on it, giving the king a glare. He would stop the king if he tried to do anything to his friends, but until he was necessary, he was going to try and control his fire a bit more and keep it down.
(*Riley feels offended until Azrail calms him down*)

South sighed, pulling his hand free, "I warned you. We are all going to die. I'm done with life anyways, so if you die I get to say I told you so," He pushed past Churrio as he walked up to the temple, staring up at the huge pillars as he placed a hand on the temple walls.
Will blushed, signing 'yes' almost immediately. Since yes was kinda like one of those Chinese waving cats, he felt a bit like a cat as he did it. Silly perhaps, but he couldn't help it. He then hugged Azrail, kissing him gently on the cheek before pulling away and turning to look at the huge temple.

(*jumps out window* can't catch me now xD)

Rin's eyes where glowing back, that when Tippy grabbed his sword, hitting it with the flat side as it glowed and his eyes returned to normal. Rin was shaking a bit, looking shocked and scared. Tippy pulled him to his feet, handing him back his sword.
The King smirked, not answering the question. Instead he smacked Riley's wing with the sword, watching it glow yet again. He knew, well it was a secret how he knew. Let's just say he had a little help.
(*laughs* basically the sword makes the person it hits see their worse fear (or a flashback if the fear comes from a memory). Rin's sword cancels out the effect though)

(*gets completely distracted drawing* Oh, right! Gotta reply. *glances at this* Again?! How come I keep putting three conversations in one post? How!? Meh, might as well keep them here until they die down I guess. *shrug*)

"Aw. I like saying I told you so to people, not the other way around." Churrio steps aside so South wouldn't push her. She felt a bit giddy with excitement and wonder. This place looked amazing! She wondered what secrets it held.
Azrail smiles at Will, his head stuck in cloud nine for a few moments when Will kissed him. It took him a few tries to get his head back in the game. He laced his fingers with Will's and looks at the temple too. "If Austyn were here I bet he'd already be inside exploring the place." He muses.

(Nooooo!! *falls through window as I try to slow down so I don't fall through because I hate falling*)

Austyn seems to understand what both swords did now and didn't want to go anywhere near the king and was determined to not let anyone else get close either. Austyn gives Rin a hug and told him everything was going to be alright and then let him go in case he decided to attack the king again.
Riley yelps and pulls back, though still laying down on the floor, a look of panic spreading across his face. His breath comes in short gasps as he finds a wall of fire beginning to build around him. Riley shoves his head to the floor and places his talons over his face in an attempt to hide behind them. His wings are clasped to his sides, quivering with fear. His tail stills and draws closer to his side. He cowers as he tries to get the memory out of his head.
(Nice! Sorry, not sorry, Riley.)

(Idk xD. We need to stop! I shall make them one again xD. At school but I FAST xD. *Catches you* Hello there!)

"Whatever! This isn't a competition! Let's just hurry up and get this nightmare over with," South said with a sigh as he entered the temple, looking around nervously, "As long as we don't go to the pillars we are fine," He muttered as he tried to reassure himself.
"Probably," Will said already getting irritated just by thinking about Austyn, he made him upset for some reason even thinking about him.
He finally walks forward, looking at the old temple. It was crumbling and there was ivy covering some parts of it. Yup, old for sure. He saw South and North head inside so he hesitantly followed, jumping in surprise why dirt sprinkled on his head.

Rin mostly just looked shocked and scared. He rubbed his eyes, finally hugging Austyn back as he started to calm down.
"We need to help Riley," Rin said not very helpfully as he finally came back to reality, "He must be scared."
Tippy didn't say anything, looking guilty. He grabbed Rin's sword, jumping forward to battle the king. He rolled out of the way as the king swung at him, trying to hurt him... well kill him.
"A spirit," Tippy mumbles as he gets up, blocking the kings attack.
The king's smirk only grew bigger, "I forgot you could see ghosts and spirits," He said as he knocked Tippy's sword out of his hand, "But it won't help you if your dead!"

(*falls and then gets caught* Am I dead yet?)
"Right!" Churrio follows South and North, giving East's hand a gentle squeeze before she took her talon out of his grip. Sure, holding hands - or talons - was fine, but after a while a hand - or talon - needs a break!
"Everything alright?" Azrail asks Will, unable to peer into his mind and figure out what was bothering him. Azrail glances up when the dirt sprinkled down, using a hand to shield his eyes from the dirt. He scoots a tiny bit closer to Will. Old buildings wasn't something too scary or whatever, but it was an excuse to be closer to Will, right?

"Right. Riley needs help." Austyn, still hugging Rin, shuffles slowly to Riley. Austyn hums in distress when Rin's sword gets knocked out of Tippy's grip. The group was the good guys. Good guys never lost. Things weren't supposed to go bad any more. Well, that was Austyn's opinion.
Riley turned into his human form, hoping that if he changed form whatever was making him recall the time he lost control of his fire would go away. In human form, however, he didn't have immunity to intense heat and if you remember he had blasted lava at the floor beneath him before putting it out. It was still hot, so it burns him, but he doesn't make any move to get away. "I'm sorry." Riley whispers as he lay curled up in a tight ball in the middle of a pool of hardened but still hot lava. He wasn't apologizing to all those people he had accidentally killed years ago, rather he was apologizing to himself, sorry that he still blamed himself and continued to harbor feelings of resentment toward himself for that action.

(Nope a do! You alive and well *Hugs* which is good!)

East let out a squeak in protest, but let her pull her talon away. He then just followed her close behind instead, like he was now her shadow. Maybe he was? He looked around the huge temple, running ahead down the corridor, looking excited.
He nodded, not about to admit that he had just been scared by some dirt. He had just been a baby again, which was his own fault. He raised a hand and brushed off the dirt that had landed on his head. He didn't mind Azrail, actually enjoying his company. Oh and it was totally an excuse xD

Rin let go of Riley, running over to Riley. He almost get hit again as the king wildly swung his sword at Tippy, not meant for Rin but almost hitting him anyways. He steps on the lava, flinching a bit. He picks up Riley, moving him away from the lava and healing him. He could feel the heat on his feet and ankles, which hurt a lot. He couldn't heal himself, so it only felt worse by every second. He sits down, hugging Riley and rocking side to side a bit.
"It's okay," He said rocking side to side, "It won't hurt you, if you can control it. You'll be safe," He sounded a bit like he was also trying to convince himself a bit, which was a bit odd.
Tippy blocked, still not attacking. He was doing a good job fighting, until the king suddenly kicked his knees from behind, making him fall. The King smiled, tapping Tippy's shoulder with his sword. It glowed, but nothing happened.
"What..." The king seemed surprised, pulling Tippy's sword away before Tippy could grab it, causing him to cut his hand on the blade, "Why isn't it working?"
"Because I am living in fear," Tippy said quietly, "The sword doesn't affect me anymore."

(Yesh, very good. *nods and hugs back* You well?)

Churrio didn't want East exploring alone. She had to be there too! She hops after him as quickly as she could without it being awkward and embarrassing. So not too fast but faster than just walking though it took more energy to hop.
Azrail nods and walks beside Will. He takes in the surroundings and makes a mental map of the place, a habit of his. Another habit was glancing towards Will and thinking to himself that he was lucky to have such a nice boyfriend. The next habit was the one he's had for a while, playing with his bracelets.

Austyn felt slightly offended that Rin had gone to Riley instead of staying with him, but after a moment he was too busy worrying about his friends to think about his feelings. Tippy needed help. What did Austyn have that could help against the king? Oh, yeah. Three daggers... Like they would do any good. Eh, might as well try. Austyn offers a dagger to Tippy when there's a break in the fight.
Riley shakes his head, his horns nearly cutting Rin as he does so. "It is not ok and it has hurt so many others I don't care if it hurts me. I can't control it. I never have been and I never will be able to. I should find somewhere to hide so I won't be able to hurt anyone ever again. Then, everyone can be safe from me." Riley says quietly.
"You'd hurt me if you went away." Austyn chirps, being the best friend he was. "And I bet your boyfriend would be sad too."
"My boyfriend's a phoenix. He could come with me and be fine. But you, you can't. You could get hurt. You could die." Riley avoids looking at Austyn, who's visage betrays his injured feelings.

East had found his way to a room with a bunch of engravings on the wall. Pictures, a story of pictures on the wall. A picture of a best with clock eyes. There was also a picture of something that looked kinda like him. He smiled, putting a hand on the engraving with a smile.
Will kept looked around, not very used to places so getting lost rather quickly. He wasn't exactly lost, he just didn't know which way he had come from... well okay lost then. He didn't want to admit it though.

Tippy stares at his injured hand, taking the dagger from Austyn with a grateful nod as he blocks the king's next attack, barely. He looked a bit tired now from all the fighting, not used to it. The king still looked full of energy as he knocked the dagger out of Tippy's hand, kicking him backward into the wall. He landed, dazed as the king stepped forward, pointing the sword at him. Tippy was losing the fight and badly at that. He wasn't a fighter and the king knew that well, somehow.
Rin didn't seem to mind almost get scratched by Riley's horns, patting his head gently, "Listen up little hatchling. Everyone is scared of something. I'm scared of losing Tippy. That doesn't mean I should lock him away because I can't control him. I need to accept that things happen, no matter how hard it can be. Even if that means that he gets hurt. So remem...." He trailed off as he saw Tippy, placing Riley down as he jumped to his feet.

(I am as giddy as a squirrel finding a nut they had hid for the winter. ^w^ (my attempt at using idiom... not so good?))

Churrio watches East before looking around the room. "Pretty." She mutters and trails a talon over the drawings, following the story. The clock eyed thing looked creepy but it couldn't be too creepy if it came to life. It wouldn't be able to see if it had clocks for eyes. At least that's what Churrio told herself.
Azrail would know the way back. He kept retracing where they had gone in his mind, adding more to his mental map when they continued. One thing about going over it multiple times is that its hard to forget. So the fact that Will was his boyfriend now is pretty much permanently stuck in Azrail's head though he might not be thinking about it constantly the knowledge was there.

Austyn had two daggers still, so he used them as he steps in front of Tippy. He wasn't the type to stab someone in the back even if he had the opportunity to. He knew how to use the daggers well enough and good luck taking the daggers away from him.
Riley sits on the floor and thinks about what Rin said, watching him, Tippy, and Austyn. He gets to his feet and stands beside Rin. If the king hurt Tippy, Rin, or Austyn - especially Austyn - Riley would be taking the king for a private tour to above the clouds with a one way ticket down, a wild freefall in which would end in a splat on the ground.

(He he, I like that idiom *forgets what that is* um... yay!)

East stared at the thing for clocks for eyes, shaking a bit. That was the Teller, he just knew. He didn't know how he knew or who had told him, he just could remember.
"That's the Teller," He said silently.
Will was still shocked that he had suddenly got a boyfriend. He thought everyone hated or was scared of him or just got close to get things. It was nice to have someone not like that. So he was happy.

Tippy was still dazed, not seeming to realize what was happening. The room was spinning and he felt like someone had shoved cotton balls in his head.
Rin ran over to help, gasping in surprise as the floor suddenly lit up and ropes appeared, wrapping around him.
"A trap circle," He yelped trying to struggle free and mostly failing.
The King smirked, attacking viciously, though he seemed to only be trying to knock their weapons away, not kill them.
