She felt sorry for them. She knew her parents were still alive, and the thought of them being gone hurt her.

Kio and Shino
"It will be okay brother. I know that it hurts and I feel you. I cried when I found this in that old building I used to live in. I know it hurts that they're gone, but they'll never be forgotten." Kio said mentally. Shino's tears stained Kio's fur, the two not minding at all.

He watched on silently, wanting to comfort them but not knowing how. he sighs, standing straight as he remembers his little brother, his mother, and father. He sighs, hugging Hessonite to him gently, he presses his nose in the crook of her neck.

She doesn't know how to comfort them either. She always thought you had to feel the same pain to comfort the same pain.

Rei trots up to them, gently laying down and curling around the animals, nudging them lightly.

Kio and Shino
"Kio, where did you find that?" he said, his voice breaking at times. Kio looked at him, expecting him to figure it out. "Our old house. Is our pictures still there?" Kio got the dozens of pictures out of her pocket, giving it to Shino. "I miss them!" he said.

Thats a lot of pictures...She thought, looking at Kio as she got them out of her pocket.

Shino
He hugged the pictures, his tail stiff and lowered. He then gave them back to his sister, hugging her again. Kio hugged him back, rubbing his back.

Its so sad... She thought.

Shino
He let go and sat down on the ground, still staring at the diamond with the family picture.

Kio
She finally decided to speak up. "They didn't die to die you know, they died to protect us. They love us to death and they still do."

Shino
He did hear her speak and listened to her words, lowering his ears.
