Once they had gotten close enough, he had pretty much figured which woman it was. He decided to let Xolia greet her first, because as the saying goes, ladies first.

Xolia gave her mother a hug, holding herself back from crying. It had been so long since she had seen her mother. It had only been a couple of days since she arrived in Aristila, but she was being held in the Lithuria palace from the day it was announced she would take the princess' place.

Temorin smiled warmly at the two women's reunion. Her mother obviously meant a lot to her, so he stayed quiet and out of the way.
