I nod, and slowly stand up. I say,
"You are welcome to stay if you want, or have a meal with us. I have large stores of meat and other foods if you want some."
Jet looks angry at me. I think he is jealous of the other dragon. I risk a slight glare in his direction as if to say We must be hospitable, don't be selfish

*IceFang*

I seem to think about this. My tail swishes back and forth and one of the spikes impales I stone although I don't seem to notice.
Alright then, it seems I have nothing better to do I finally say. My posture relaxes a bit and I look very regal with my head arched proudly. I do a perfect job of hiding the fact that the only reason I am staying is that I could not find a polite way to decline such a kind person, and I eye the other dragon warily.

"I have a pot of warm stew almost ready, and if you don't want that I can get you pretty much any meat from my stores. Tell me what you want and I'm sure I can get it for you." I say. Jet moodily sits down, and sucks up the venom that was dribbling its way down his chin. I wait politely for the dragon to answer. I don't fear dragons, they astonish me. I can be my usual kind and happy self around them, and not shy or afraid, as I would be if this dragon had a rider.

(I have to leave for lunch with some friends now, I might be back a bit later)

I do not mind what you feed me young human. Life as a rouge dragon living in the snowy mountains has taught me to take what I can get so I will take whatever is most easy for you I tell her. Then I turn to Jet.
Do not be jealous noble dragon. I do not wish to take your rider from you. You two are bonded for life, I will not be the one to try and break that bond I say.

I nod, and walk through my doorway to get the stew and and some strips of meat. I walk out, and Jet is looking as if his pride was hurt. I chuckle a little bit under my breath. He can be so selfish sometimes. This other dragon knows how to humble him. I like that.

I offer half of the meat to Jet, and half to the other dragon. I also pour out three bowls of stew, and we start eating.

I eat, dipping some of my meat in the stew. I take care not to rush through my meal. As I eat I watch the girl and the dragon out of the corner of my eyes.

I eat slowly, savoring my stew. I got it just right this time, just the right amount of pepper and cayenne. Jet hesitantly eats, watching me. He has only had the company of me before, he doesn't know how to act around new people.
"I never asked you your name," I say, after swallowing.

My name is IceFang. And what is your name and the name of your noble dragon? I ask respectfully.

I say,
"He's Jet, and I'm Fen."
Jet inclines his head, and I see that he respects this dragon a bit more. He doesn't even have any venom drips!

A noble name for a noble dragon, and a lovely name for a lovely lady I nod to them each in turn as I finish my meal. Then my eyes harden and I seem to tense slightly.
