Gladis laughed. "Well I am glad you don't like the taste of a minor poison. It will only cause sore throat or sore muscles." Gladis said.

Lint didn't have any side effects. "It's such a good knowledge, to know how to train up to become immune to poisons. Very helpful in such situations."

"Okay fine." Gladis said. "Now do you need to get going or what? I can help." Bane growled. "I mean me and Bane can help." Gladis said.

Amber gently picked up the nest of bird down with her kits inside. "TruHeart camp has a few hidden rooms me and the old Alpha built" Amber suggested.

"Then let's go." Bane said. "We will make sure you stay safe."

Gently nuzzling her kits, she broke into a jog until she found her den. Walking behind it, she went to a normal looking spot in the ground and opened a secret trap door. Inside, there were about 10 crates full of canned meat and a whole garden. The underground area was a mile in every direction, and was suited with a lot of homely touches like couches and such. They had a TV that played old movies, and it was obvious this place was planned for a full pack and a half. Picking up her kits, Amber descended the ladder and lay down on a couch with her kits around her.

The wolf swallowed hard as he stood his teeth gritted in pain. A hand over the wound in his middle he picked Lilly and Gale up. He followed Amber though he could not go down the ladder. Collapsing he lay next to it out cold. Gale nudged his head into the wolf's fur. The kit gave a soft mew as he crawled closer to the wolf. The fox like kitten licked Gale's ears.


"I hate this time of year." The Amir Leopard growled as she stomped through the dead leaves under the trees. "It's too hot." She stopped next to a stream her cloak hitting the water as she did. Taking a drink she swiftly walked across the water. "I wonder if any of the sides are left."

Bane and Gladis protected the animals while they ran then they exited the cave. They ran to the river.

Silently the leopard scaled a tree resting in a small sort of vine hut she had made for herself. She settled down hanging her feet off the edge of the branch. Tomorrow she would search the dead and bury them. To bad, now who would pay her?

"Boss! Boss!" Bane called.
