The rest of the herd flee in terror.

she kneled doen and tucked in. while she liked the flavor, she perfered the crocodile. but this was very good. just needed salt and barbeque sauce. or more blood.

Within a few minutes, it starts to feel... less fulfilling. Its still tasty, but its not giving her the same satisfaction as it was when she first killed it. Its like its filling-ness is depleting, or something.

she began to get worried she would get addicted to that sense of fufillment, and decided to ask Virv about it later.

Pretty soon, it just... doesnt feel good to eat it. At all. Its about as hunger-quenching as eating literally nothing.

she pulled away, leaving some left, before going to find Virv.

Virv is petting a lion. A literal, very much wild lion.

She walked over, smiling. *hey. Can we talk for a sec? Im worried about something.*

She nods.

She told Virv about her worries and her fear of a growing addiction.
