Virv stands there, calm and still, while she does so. The hunger pain eases and ebbs away.

she drank all she needed and a little more for extra, before pulling away, licking her lips. *do you have a mirror? i wanna see what i look like.*

She nods. "There's a pond nearby which we use for exactly that." She gently picks her up, albeit with some difficulty than before, and flies them down to the pond.

she waited, excited.

She leads Luna over to the pond. When she stares down at her reflection, it's no longer a human that stares back.


For starters, she's got very dark grey skin. Darker than Virv's by quite a bit. The sharp, hook part of her beak is also much larger than Virv's, reaching all the way down to her chin. Her feathers are a soft, pale brown, mottled with streaks of cream, ebony, and gold. Her tail is fairly short, and it's more bristly and thin than Virv's. But, it also curls at the tip, while Virv's doesn't. Her top eyes are both a deep sepia color, but her bottom eyes are, interestingly, bi-colored; her right is scarlet, the left gold. The tiny patterns on her skin are mostly round with sharp, jutting slashes and zigzags, and they're larger than Virv's by quite a lot.

she blinked, shocked. *while a part of me thinks i look like a monster...* she said softly before smiling at Virv. *a bigger part says i look beautiful. thank you. thank you so much.* she turned back to the pond and shifted her body around, admiring her body from different angles.

It's kinda strange- strixes seem to be a mix of horrific and beautiful. Their faces are always perfect; completely symmetrical, and no imperfections. Their skin is always smooth and neat, and their feathers are always as clean as if they'd just been washed. It's odd, but nice.

she smiled and looked at her wings, trying to spread them to look at them.

Her wings are definitely the strangest part. They feel so light that she almost forgets they're a part of her, and lifting them feels even stranger. They're primarily the same dim brown color that Virv and Riin's are, although they're slightly lighter, and they're tipped with the same accent colors as her other feathers.

she grinned and tried to flap them. *this is amazing!*
